3 Delectable Chocolate Truffle Recipes

Truffles are lovely chocolate creations that enhances the taste of any kind of chocolate. The various flavors of truffles are bound to make anyone happy having it. It requires minimum cooking and preparation and makes a good amount of batch that can be devoured in any occasion. There are various types of truffles and which comes with various types of fillings or without any. But they surely are rich enough to make you feel good after eating it.

1. Strawberry Coconut Dark Chocolate Truffle:

Strawberry Coconut Dark Chocolate Truffle

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Setting Time: 2 Hours
Serves: 24

Ingredients:

Dark chocolate compound pieces:  2 cups
Heavy cream: 1 cup
Strawberries: 2 cups
Coconut milk: 1 cup
Coconut desiccated: half cup
Powdered sugar: half cup
Honey:  half cup

Method:

Step 1

Take the strawberries and remove the leaves and hull it. Grind the strawberries in the mixer till it becomes a pulp. Now add coconut milk, powdered sugar, honey to it and pulse it again. Remove it in a bowl.

Step 2

Take the desiccated coconut and roast them slightly in a pan or a microwave. Once it’s slightly roasted, remove from the heat and then add it to the strawberry mix. Fold it gently till it becomes hard. If the mix is too runny, heat it in a pan to remove excess moisture. Once a hard mix is formed, roll the mix in tiny 1 inch balls. Line it in a tray and refrigerate them till it’s set.

Step 3

Take the cream in a microwave safe bowl and melt it in microwave for a minute in high setting. repeat it for 15 seconds or so. When the cream starts to bubble, add the chocolate pieces and let it rest for a minute so that it melts due to heat. After a minutes, fold the mix to form a luscious paste. If it’s grainy, heat it for 15 seconds more and mix it.

Step 4

Now remove the strawberry balls and with the help of a fork, dip each ball in the chocolate mix so that it’s covered well. Place it in a lined tray. Do it for each balls and then refrigerate till it’s set. Your truffle is ready!

2. Oreo Filled White Chocolate Truffle:

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Setting Time: 2 Hours
Serves: 24

Ingredients:

White chocolate compound: 2 cups
Heavy cream:  1 cup
Oreo cookies: 20 nos.
Cinnamon powder: 1 tsp
Butter: 2 tbsp

Method:

Step 1

Take the Oreo cookies and crush them lightly with a heavy spatula. After it’s reduced to chunks, place them in a grinder and pulse it till it’s in a form of fine powder. Now add the cinnamon powder and butter to it and pulse it again to form a doughy mix. Remove from grinder and place it in a bowl and chill it.

Step 2

Once the cookie mix is chilled, make small balls with the help of a teaspoon and rolling it with your hands. Set aside in fridge once again.

Step 3

Take the cream in a microwave safe bowl and melt it in microwave for a minute in high setting. repeat it for 15 seconds or so. When the cream starts to bubble, add the white chocolate pieces and let it rest for a minute so that it melts due to heat. After a minutes, fold the mix to form a luscious paste. If it’s grainy, heat it for 15 seconds more and mix it.

Step 4

Take the balls and let the white chocolate cover it fully with the help of spoon or fork. Do the same with all the Oreo balls. Chill till the white chocolate cover sets and then relish it.

3. 3 Layer Peanut Butter/Nutella/Milk Chocolate Truffle:

3 Layer Peanut Butter,Nutella,Milk Chocolate Truffle

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Setting Time: 5 Hours
Serves: 24

Ingredients:

Peanut butter: 1 cup
Peanut powder: half cup
Nutella or any hazelnut spread: 2 cups
Semi sweet chocolate compound: 2 cups
Heavy cream: 1 cup

Method:

Step 1

Take the peanut butter in a bowl and add peanut granules to it. Keep this mixture in refrigerator till it sets.

Step 2

Take Nutella or any other hazelnut spread in a bowl and set it aside.

Step 3:

Once the peanut butter is set, remove from refrigerator and make very tiny balls of it using a teaspoon. Do it till all the balls are formed. Let it rest it the refrigerator again.

Step 4

Once they are hard, take them pout and then, roll them in Nutella till all sides are covered and place it gingerly on a plate. Chill it again.

Take the cream in a microwave safe bowl and melt it in microwave for a minute in high setting. repeat it for 15 seconds or so. When the cream starts to bubble, add the chocolate pieces and let it rest for a minute so that it melts due to heat. After a minutes, fold the mix to form a luscious paste. If it’s grainy, heat it for 15 seconds more and mix it.

Step 6

Now remove the peanut butter/ Nutella balls and let it roll in the chocolate mixture till a hard covering of chocolate covers these balls. Place it gingerly on a plate till and chill it again till a sturdy truffle is formed. Enjoy once it sets.
