If You Want To Find Out How To Make An Awesome Turtle Cheesecake With Caramel Sauce At Home, Here’s The Recipe:
Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Cooking Time: 65 To 70 Minutes
Servings: 7 To 8
Cream cheese: 24 ounce
Sugar: 3/4 cup
Caramel sauce: 3/4 cup
Butter: 3 tablespoons
Chocolate sandwich cookies: 12 pieces
Vanilla: 1 tablespoon
Eggs: 3 pieces
Chocolate chips: 1/4 cup
Chopped pecans: 1/4 cup
Method Of Preparation:
To make the cheesecake you need to prepare the base first. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a chopper and mix it with melted butter. Rub the crumbs very well until it is completely coated with the butter.
Grease a 9 inch springform pan and line it with butter paper. Spread out the cookie crumb at the bottom evenly. Make a thick crust at the bottom and try to ensure that its height is almost same all over. Now drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over it. Keep it in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes, until the base is hard and nicely set. It is very important to allow the crust to set. If you do not give time, the wet mixture on top will seep through and your cake will lose out on a solid crust.
Beat the sugar and cream cheese together until it is soft and fluffy. Add vanilla to flavor the cake and gradually add one egg at a time as you whisk the mixture with a beater at low speed. Once mixed properly, pour the entire mixture over the refrigerated crust.
To avoid the seeping caramel from spoiling your oven, place a baking sheet under the springform pan before you start baking the cheesecake. Let it bake for 65 to 70 minutes. Check with a knife or a toothpick to see whether the center of the cake is almost done. When you are satisfied with the cake, remove it from the oven and run a knife along the edges of the pan while the cake is still warm. However, do not try to remove it from the pan now. Allow it to cool down completely. Make sure that you do not overcook the cake.
Refrigerate the cooled cheesecake for 4 to 8 hours before serving. Remove the turtle cheesecake with caramel sauce from the pan and sprinkle some chopped pecans on top. Melt the chocolate chips on a double boiler. Place a pan of boiling water on the stove and keep the bowl of chocolate over the pan to melt it. Drizzle it over the pecans along with some delicious caramel sauce. Cut it into slices and an amazing cheesecake is ready to be devoured. If you have leftovers, feel free to refrigerate it again and use it whenever it is required.
