Oranges: 2 pieces
Egg: 1 piece
Ricotta cheese: 220 grams
Plain flour: 200 grams
Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
Sunflower or vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
Semi-skimmed milk: 200ml
Nuts: a handful
Whipped cream: ½ cup (optional)
Method Of Preparation:
Peel the oranges and cut it into thin round slices. Take a large mixing bowl. Tip in the flour along with baking powder and a pinch of salt. In the center, make a small well. Add a little bit of milk in the well and pour the egg.
Take a whisk and slowly mix the flour with the egg and milk to form a lump free batter. Slowly, pour the rest of the milk as you continue to mix it. Keep whisking to form a smooth and lump free pancake batter. Stir in the ricotta cheese and mix until it combines with the prepared dough.
