We all love egg. It is an easy getting and very tasty food. It has a very high nutrition value. Egg is full with vitamins, minerals, protein and other nutrition. There are many dishes which can be made using egg. Scrambled egg, poached egg, boiled egg, egg with gravy and lot of other dishes are there. But like my other recipes, today’s egg recipe is also very healthy and definitely tasty. It is a Lebanese cuisine. The taste is really very different. You must try this at your home. The other one is the rice recipe. It is a Chinese cuisine, mainly popular at Shanghai. So friends, let’s start of making them.

Today We Will Be Learning Shanghai Rice And Lebanese Egg. Let’s Start With Shanghai Rice:

Shanghai Rice:

This rice recipe is full with vegetables. If your kids do not like to eat vegetables, make this to them. They will start loving vegetables.

Shanghai Rice

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes
Serves: 4


Chopped sweet corn 1/2 cup
Button mushroom 1 cup
Chopped carrot 1/2 cup
Chopped broccoli 1/2 cup
Red, yellow and grenn bell pepper 1/4 cup each
Egg 1
Olive oil 2 tsp
Boneless chicken 100 grams
Prawn 50 grams
Tomato sauce 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Chopped ginger 1 tsp
Chopped garlic 1/2 tsp
Choppe celery 2 tsp
Cooked rice 2 cup
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Chopped spring onion 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation:

We would need to follow the following steps for making this easy and tasty recipe:

Step 1

Boil the chicken pieces and prawn into salted water. Make small pieces of the chicken. Keep them aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Add chopped ginger and garlic into it. Saute for a minutes. Now add boiled chicken pieces into it. Fry for a minute. Now add chopped sweet corn, button mushroom, chopped carrot, chopped celery one by one. Fry them on a high flame.

Step 3

When the vegetables will turn to little brown, add boiled prawn into it. mix it properly. Now add the broccoli. Do not add the broccoli with other vegetable.It will become very soft then which will not taste good. Always add broccoli when other vegetables will be boiled and half fried.

Step 4

When all the vegetables will be fried properly, add the cooked rice into. Add tomato sauce, Red-green-yellow bell pepper, black pepper powder, spring onion, salt and chili powder. Mix everything very well. When each rice will be fried enough switch off the flame.

Step 5

Fry the egg on another frying pan. scramble the egg. Pour the entire rice mixture into it. Mix the fried scrambled egg with the rice.

Lebanese Egg:

We are done with our rice item. Now we will be making Lebanese Egg. This dish can be eaten with any type of rice item. This is a little spicy dish. However, if you want, can make it less spicy simply by removing the spicy ingredients. Let’s check the recipe:

Egg 4
Whole Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp
Chopped garlic 2 tsp
Dry chili 2
Tomato 5
Olive oil 3 tsp
Red bell pepper 1
Green bell pepper 1 cut into julienne strips
Green Chili 2 piece cut into julienne strips
Red Chili flex 2 tsp
Mint leave little bit
Salt to taste.

Method Of Preparation:

Let’s make Lebanese Egg with the help of the following steps:

Step 1

Heat a frying pan. Now fry whole coriander seeds, cumin seeds and dry chili. Do not add oil when frying them, It will be dry fry. Now grind this fried coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry chili along with the mint leaves and chopped garlic. Make a nice paste with all of these.

Step 2

Boil the tomatoes. Peel their skin. Now make a fine paste of these boiled tomatoes. Keep them aside.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Now add the paste which we have made at step 1. Saute for a minute. Now add the tomato paste. Saute it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Now add green bell pepper and red bell pepper. Fry them for 5 minutes on high flame.

Step 4

Crack all eggs in to the frying pan where we are frying the tomato paste mixture with bell pepper. Do not mix the eggs with it. Reduce the flame and let all the eggs become tight. Now sprinkle salt and red chili flex and turn off the flame.
