Chicken Bolognese With Tagliatelle Recipe

Chicken Bolognese with tagliatelle is not just mouth-watering to look at but even delicious to eat. Ingredients To Prepare Chicken Bolognese With Tagliatelle:

Extra virgin olive oil – 2 teaspoon + more for drizzling
Finely chopped onion – 1 small
Freshly ground pepper
Coarse salt
Finely chopped celery stalk – 1 + leaves for serving
Peeled and finely chopped carrot – 1 medium size
Whole milk – ¾ cup
Tomato paste – 3 teaspoon
Ground chicken – 1 pound
Dry white wine – ½ cup
Papperdelle, tangliatelle or fettuccine – 1 pound
Whole peeled tomato pureed – 1 can
Nutmeg and parsman – freshly grated for serving

How To Prepare The Recipe

Step 1

Place a large skillet over medium heat. Pour oil and once it gets hot, add onion, carrot, celery to it. Stir and add salt and pepper. Cook stirringly for the next 6-7 minutes or until it becomes smooth. Add chicken pieces one by one. With the help of a wooden spatula, break into bite size pieces while stirring. Cook until it loses its pink color. Now add tomato paste to the mixture and cook stirringly for the next 2 minutes.

Step 2

Next, pour wine and allow the mixture to boil or till the wine has disappeared completely. This might take about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Add tomatoes and milk next. Keep the setting low and allow the mixture to thicken for the next 12-15 minutes.

Step 4

Take a large pot of salted water and add Papperdelle, tangliatelle or fettuccine to it. Once cooked drain the mixture reserving one cup of water at the end. Transfer the mixture to the above prepared sauce little by little. Stir so that the sauce coats the mixture properly. Finally drizzle the mixture with oil and decorate with celery leaves, cheese for additional taste and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve to yourself and you near and dear ones.
