Chicken Fried Rice – The Easiest Recipe You Can Try At Home Today

1. Chicken around 200 gms
2. Chopped garlic
3. 1 tbsp soya sauce
4. 1 tbsp vinegar
5. Chilli sauce according to taste
6. 1/4 tbsp pepper powder
7. 1-2 tbsp sesame or olive oil
8. Star anise
9. Salt to taste
10. 1 medium sized onion
11. Chopped bell peppers
12. Chopped carrot
13. 2-3 sprigs celery which is optional

Steps To Follow

Step 1:

First the rice should be washed properly and then cooked till al dente. Drain the water and let it cool.

Step 2:

Oil should be put in a pan and chicken should be cooked in low flame till the time the chicken becomes soft and tender. Very little water should be used when cooking the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, the sauce should be poured to it. Then the chicken should be kept aside to cool.

Step 3:

Then take a wide pan and heat oil in it. Garlic and star anise should be cooked in the pan for a minute and then add the spring onions and cook for about 4 minutes. Then pour the chicken into this mixture and cook the sauce till it becomes thick.

Step 4:

Then rice, pepper powder and salt to be added to the ingredients that have already been cooked. Salt can be added a bit if needed.

Step 5:

Mix all the ingredients well and cook for about 3-4 minutes. A dish that is delicious and can’t be ignored!
