For Apple Pie Filling


Apples – 4 numbers
Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 4 cups
Lemon juice – 3 tablespoon
Water – 10 cups
Cornstarch – 1 cup
Salt – 1 teaspoon

For Apple Pie Roll up


Bread slices – 10
Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
Butter (melted) – 1/3 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Apple pie filling – 1 can

Method of Preparation:

Step 1

Take thin sliced apples in a bowl and add some lemon juice to it. Mix cinnamon, salt, corn starch and sugar in another bowl. Add this mixture to a container of water on a stove-top and allow it to boil. Keep stirring the mixture constantly. Add the apples and allow it to boil. Cook on low flame until the apples become tender and soft. Let it cool. Now, the filling is ready.

Step 2

Heat the oven to about 350 degrees.

Step 3

Cut the outer layer of the bread and roll the soft slices using a rolling pin. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a plate.

Step 4

Take the prepared apple pie filling and place two tablespoons of the filling over the bread slice and roll it up.

Step 5

Dunk the rolled bread slice in melted butter and then roll it over the cinnamon sugar mixture on the plate. Transfer the rolls on a pan and bake them for about 15 minutes so that the rolls will become brown and crispy. Serve hot.
