Recipe For The Delicious Banana Leaf Baked Cod With Courgette At Home

This is the low carbs dish, in this we cook the fish and marinate it with the lemon grass and the ginger, then wrap it in the banana leaf, now bake it. Then we make the paste of the toasted peanuts, soy sauce, basil leaves, red chili, lime, garlic to it, then we cook the thread of the courgette to it and served it.

Serves- 3

Ingredients:

Fish- 200 gm
Banana leaf- 1
Lemon grass- 1
Garlic- 2 cloves
Soy sauce- 1 tablespoon
Sesame oil- 2 tablespoon
Peanuts- 100 gm
Basil leaves- 5 sprig
Lime- 3 tablespoon
Ground oil- 1 tablespoon
Courgette- 1
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

Now take the lemon grass, chopped it very fine, now take the ginger, chopped it very fine, now mix it well, now take the fish, remove the skin, season it with the salt and pepper, now rub the paste of the ginger and lemon grass on it.

Step 2

Now take the big banana leaf and wrap it nicely, now place this on the baking tray, now place this inside the oven at 200 degree celcius for about the 10 minutes. Now take the courgette, cut the top and the bottom, now cut it into the thin threads.

Step 3

Now take out the peanuts from it shells, rub it so that it will get clean, now take the pan, put it on the medium heat, now place the peanuts in it, season it with the salt and pepper, now leave it for sometime, so that it will get toasted, now take the jar, add the peanuts, basil leaves, chili, 1 tablespoon of the lime, garlic and the ground nut oil to it, add the sesame oil and the soy sauce, now blend it to make the smooth paste.

Step 4

Now take the boiling water, add the courgette to it, now season it with the salt and pepper, now season it with the salt and pepper, now leave it for sometime, so that the courgette will cook, now take it out and drain out the excess water, now mix it with the paste of the peanut to it.

Step 5

Take the serving plate, place the cooked fish to it, now to the other side place the courgette to it. The dish is ready to eat.
