Momos are very small Chinese dish, but the taste of the momo is so good. This is one of the delicious Chinese cuisine and this is served with the Chinese sauce both the momo and its sauce make the taste good. Normally we get this dish in the restaurants or Chinese van only, but we can also make the healthy momos in the home and here are the simple steps.
Preparation Time- 15 minutes
Cooking Time – 20-25 Minutes
Served – 4
Cabbage, onions, carrot- medium bowl
Chopped raw chicken- 200 gm
Semolina Floor- 250 gm
Vegetable oil – 100 ml
Soya Sauce – 2 table spoon
Vinegar- 1 table spoon
Red Chili powder- 2 teaspoon
Green Chili – 3
Tomatoes- chopped 3
Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Water – as needed
Non stick fry pan
Methods of Preparation:
Take the onions and chopped them very fine. Now take the cabbage and the carrot and chopped it also. Take the semolina floor and make a dough of it.
Now take a fry pan and some of the cooking oil into it. Now add some of the ginger garlic paste into it. Now add some of the vegetables into it. Add the salt as per your choice. Add the soya sauce and the red chili powder, add some of the turmeric and mix it well. Cover the fry pan with the lid and and cook the vegetable for 5-7 minutes.
If you want to make the non veg momos then, take a pan and fill it with the vegetable oil and then add some of the cumin seed and ginger garlic paste, add some of the vinegar and fry it now add the fine chopped chicken into it. Now mix it well and fried the chicken well. Put some of the water into it so that the chicken will cook proper. Cover it with the lid and cook it for the 15 minutes. Now see when the water is disappeared from the pan then off your flame.
Now take the dough of the semolina floor and make the big chapati from it. Now take a stainless steel glass whose corners are very sharp. Now press this glass to the chapati and take out the exactly round shaped circle of the floor.
Now take the one circle and fill it with the small amount of the fried vegetables and in the case of the non veg momos take the fried chicken. Press the corners of the circles in the upward directions so that all the corner will make the shape like a ball and the joint will be at the top. Take all the circles and do the process to make the momos.
Now take a deep pan which should be non stick and put all of your momos into it. Its good to brush the vegetable oil on the surface of the pan. Now fill it with the water to the level of the momos. On your flame and see the boiling of the water. When all of the water is evaporated then take out your hot momos.
For the sauce take the chopped tomatoes, chopped garlic, red chili powder, and the chopped green chili some of the sugar. Take all these in a jar of the mixer. Use the mixer and make a liquid paste of it add some of the water into it so that it will become the liquid. Use this sauce with the momos.
