This Caramel Sauce is Deliciously Sweet, Buttery and Yummy Sauce which can be prepared in just 15 minutes. This can be made with less Salt if you don’t like it to be Salted, either way it tastes Yummy.
We will start preparing this by melting the Granulated Sugar in a saucepan by whisking it continuously till it is translucent and changes its color to brown. When the Sugar melts completely, add in the butter and start whisking again. Once the butter
mixes with the melted Sugar, it changes its color to amber. Remove from heat and immediately add Heavy Cream and stir it continuously. In the end, add Vanilla Extract and Salt and whisk in until it is incorporated. Your Delicious Salted Caramel is ready.
Allow it to cool, it thickens as it cools and will have the desired saucy consistency. You can prepare it by even adding water. This makes your Caramel Sauce little thin, but I enjoy without adding water, it is so thick. Serve this with your favorite dessert.
Let’s List The Ingredients Required And Start Preparing Our Delicious Caramel Sauce
Granulated Sugar – 2 cups
Unsalted butter – 12 tbsp
Heavy cream – 1 cup
Sea salt – 1 tsp
Vanilla extract – 1 tbsp
Step By Step Instructions
Take a medium saucepan and melt the Granulated Sugar over medium heat, swirl the pan to make sure the sugar melts evenly or you can stir it with a wooden spatula constantly. In this step be careful not to burn the Sugar. As you are stirring, the sugar will bubble up and turns translucent. Continue stirring until it turns into amber.
Once the sugar melts completely, quickly add in Butter and start whisking continuously. Be careful in this step and don’t stop whisking because the caramel will start bubbling like crazy and heat will rise from the pan when you add Butter. Once the Butter is completely melted and the color turns to amber, remove from heat and immediately add Heavy cream and whisk it continuously until the caramel sauce stops bubbling. Be very careful as it may splatter as the Caramel is hot and the Heavy cream is cold.
Add the salt and Vanilla extract and nicely give a whisk until it is incorporated. Allow it to cool down before transferring it into a container.
Pour the Salted Caramel Sauce into a jar and refrigerate this up to 2 weeks. The Salted Caramel sauce will thicken as it cools down and will continue to thicken in the refrigerator. Your tasty Salted Caramel Sauce is ready to serve.
Enjoy this as toppings on your favourite Icecreams, Cupcakes, Apple, Cheesecakes, Pancakes or any other dessert of your choice or gift this bottle of love to your loved ones and make their day.
