Delicious Turkey Meatballs Recipe

The meatballs prepared below are flavored with numerous veggies and herbs. There is tomato sauce used to form the sauce in which the veggies are dipped to give them a different flavor and make them even delicious. What’s best is that the recipe do not take much time.

Ingredients Needed To Prepare The Recipe:

Finely chopped onion – 1
Rapeseed oil – 1 teaspoon
Finely diced celery sticks – 2
Finely diced carrots – 21
Halved and thinly sliced fennel bulb –
Thinly sliced garlic clove – 2
Reduced salt chicken stock – 500 ml
Tomato Passata – 500 gram carton
For serving – broccoli and potatoes or pasta and some salad
Chopped parsley – 2 teaspoon

Porridge oats – 4 teaspoon
Lean turkey breast mince – 400 gram
Crushed garlic clove – 1

Steps On How To Prepare The Recipe:

Step 1

Take a large non-stick frying pan and place on heat. Add oil into the pan and put onion, celery, garlic, carrots and fennel into the oil. Stir to mix and then cover the pan. Cook the ingredients on medium setting for 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally. Next, add stock and the Passata. Stir once more and cover. Leave the mixture to simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 2

In the meantime, you may put the mince into a large bowl and add fennel seeds, leaves, garlic, oats and black pepper (in plenty). Mix these ingredients with a spoon but best is to use your hands.

Step 3

Shape the ingredients into the bowl in the shape of meatballs. The number should be 25 and the size should be that of a walnut.

Step 4

Take a non-stick pan and spray some oil on its surface. Place on heat and transfer the meatballs into the pan. Cook until each starts giving a fine color.

Step 5

Stir the sauce that you prepared in the step 1 and then transfer the meatballs into the sauce. Add parsley also. Pour sauce on meatballs with the help of a spoon and then cover it with a lid. Place on heat and cook for 10 minutes or until you find them cooked thoroughly or the veggies in the sauce have become tender. This completes your meatball recipe.

Step 6

Serve in a wide dish with broccoli and baby potatoes without peeling the skin or salad or pasta.
