Pie crust mix – 1 package of 11 ounce
Bacon – 1 package of 6 ounce
Cheddar cheese (shredded) – 1 cup
Eggs – 4
Milk – 1/4 cup
Ground nutmeg – 1/4 tsp
Ground black pepper – 1/4 tsp

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 220 degrees C or 425 degrees F. This is the most important step when you are baking something. Always preheat the oven before you start baking.

Step 2

Now you need to prepare the pastry for the pie. See the instructions on the package of the one crust pie. Divide the pastry in equal parts. You need 4 equal parts here. Roll each of the pastry part into a circle which should be about 6 inches. Make sure you do it on a board with a cloth covered on it. Use a rolling pin which is floured. Fit this pastry in a muffin cup. You can use custard cups. Now make the pleats so that the pastry fits. If you are using separate tart pans then cut the circles which are 1 inch larger. Prick the surface and place these tarts on a cookie sheet. Make sure they are not greased. You need to use an ungreased cookie sheet for this recipe. Do not forget!

Now bake this till it turns light brown. This should take 10 minutes or so. Cool it for 4 minutes and remove it from the cups. Reduce the temperature of the oven to 175 degrees C. Now it is time to make the tarts yummy with cheese, bacon and egg.

Now place bacon slices at the bottom of each cup. Place 2 bacon. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the bacon. Bread an egg on each and add a tablespoon of milk on each of the tart. Sprinkle the pepper and nutmeg on top. Place these tarts on the cookie sheet. It should be ungreased. Bake it till the eggs are cooked. This should take 20 minutes or so. Take out the tarts and serve them warm to your friends and family for breakfast. Your dish is ready to serve!
