If you are making the cats tongue biscuits from scratch, here is what you need. If not, you can simply use the lady finger biscuits that are available in various departmental and food stores.
60 gms Egg white (2)
60 gms Egg Yolk (2)
4 tbsp each flour & castor sugar
Pinch of salt
You have to first sieve flour with salt. Whisk egg white. Add the egg yolks. Whisk in castor sugar & continue beating till creamy & fluffy.
Fold in the sieved flour with salt. Pipe the mixture on a baking tray with a nozzle in shape of small biscuits & bake for 10 mins at 160 degree C till golden brown. If you do not get egg at home try one of the cake mixes that are readily available in the market. Make the recipe given. Pour this mixture through a nozzle on a baking tray & bake it at 160 degree C for 8 – 10 mins to make strips.

200 gms each Mascarpone Cheese & Regular fresh cream
½ cup pwd sugar
2 tbsp coffee liquer
2 tsp coffee essence (Kahlua)
¼ cup strong coffee
Cocoa pwd for garnishing
The first thing you have to do here is ensure that your cream is really chilled. If both of your creams are not chilled then they would curdle, which in turn means that you would have to lose out. So take chilled cream and then whip in an electric beater / whipped with an egg beater by putting the cream dish on top of a dish filled with ice.
Take the strong coffee & make the black coffee. In case you don’t have any kahlua, you can either use bourbon or even rum. However, in case you don’t want to use liquor there are other essences available to flavour the same. Do not add sugar to it. Allow it to cool.
Once your mixture is cooled, you can now get started with the remaining process. Add the Kahlua to it & keep it aside. Add sugar to the whipped cream & beat it for 2 mins. You can also try using icing sugar here or even powdered sugar. It will help in getting you a fluffier layer of cream. Next you should add the coffee liquer to it.
