Mouth Watering French Cuisine Chicken Supreme With Lemon Butter And Julienne Potato Recipe At Home

Hello friends! Today I am going to share a French recipe with you. France is a country where you will get lots of foods to eat with amazing taste. French people love eating. They use to make variety of dishes with using variety of ingredients. If you think yourself as a foodie, but have not yet tried any French dishes, I would then suggest you to must try any one. The recipe I am going to share today is Chicken Supreme with Lemon Butter and Julienne Potatoes.

This is a combination of a chicken item and fried potatoes topped with lemon butter. As my every recipe has very high food value, this one is also not an exceptional. Since I am using chicken breast for making this recipe, the nutrition value becomes very high. You must know that chicken breast contain least amount of fat and high protein than any other part of chicken. So if you are aiming to lose your weight, you must eat chicken breast daily to get sufficient nutrition but not fat. So let’s start of making this French cuisine:

We Will Be Making Three Different Recipes Today Which Will Be Combined Together When Served. These Are:

Chicken Supreme
Julienne Potatoes and
Lemon Butter

1. Chicken Supreme:

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: 2

Chicken Supreme


2 chicken breast piece ( we would not cut it into pieces. It will be whole)
50 grams of shrimp
1 tsp of white pepper powder
1/2 tsp of black pepper powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp freshly chopped parsley
2 egg
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup Olive oil
1 cup bread crumb
Salt to taste

Method Of Preparation: 

Step 1

First of all, we need to make pocket inside the chicken breast. For that, cut the breast till middle. Now marinate the chicken breast with salt, half of the mustard powder, black pepper powder and white pepper powder for about 10 minutes.

Step 2

For stuffing into the chicken breast, we need to make a shrimp stuff. Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan. Now add the shrimp, salt and black pepper powder in to it. Mix them properly and fry for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Now add rest of the mustard powder, chopped parsley and mix them with the shrimp very well. Our stuffing is ready.

Step 3

Take a sufficient quantity of the shrimp stuff and put it inside the chicken breast pocket we made at step 1. Make both the breast ready with the stuffing.

Step 4

Crack two eggs in a bowl. Mix the all purpose with it. Beat it to make it smooth.

Step 5

Heat oil in a frying pan. Take one breast piece very carefully so that the stuffing does not come out. Dip it into the egg batter and then roll into bread crumb. Fry it till it becomes golden brown. Fry another breast piece in the same way. Make sure you are frying on a low heat. Otherwise the chicken will not get boiled.

We are ready with our Chicken Supreme. We will now be learning Julienne Potatoes. This is very easy to make.

2. Julienne Potatoes:

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: 2

Julienne Potatoes


2 Medium size potato
Oil to dip fry
Salt as per taste

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Peel out the skin of the potatoes. Cut them into julienne stripes. Soak them into salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain out the water. Dry the potatoes by soaking the excess water on kitchen towel.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. You should add enough amount of oil to dip fry the potatoes. Now add the julienne stripes potatoes into it. Make sure you are frying them on high flame. Otherwise they will stick to each other. Add salt. When the potatoes will become golden, switch off the flame.

Our Julienne Potato is ready. The last one is making of Lemon Butter. Let’s check the process of making this.

3. Lemon Butter:

Preparation Time: 2 Minutes
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
Serves: 4

Lemon Butter


100 grams of unsalted butter
4 tsp of lemon Juice

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Heat a small Frying pan. Add the entire butter into it. Let the butter melt fully.

Step 2

When the butter is fully melt, slowly add lemon juice into and. Keep stirring. When all lemon juice will be mixed with the butter, switch of the gas.

Serving Of Chicken Supreme With Lemon Butter And Julienne Potatoes:

On a serving plate, place one fried chicken breast. Put 2-3 tsp of fried julienne potato beside it. Now pour the lemon butter over the chicken supreme. Make another serving plate ready like this.
