Delicious And Healthy Recipe Of Mexican Chili Rice With Spring Onion Egg At Home

Hello friends! Today I am going to share two easy and simple recipes with you. These are Mexican Chili Rice which is to be served with Spring Onion Egg. If you like spicy item, you must try the Mexican Chili Rice. It is not necessary to eat this rice with the egg dish that I will be sharing today. You can have it with any kind of gravy items. Mexicans love spicy item. You will see almost every Mexican dishes are very spicy. If you don’t like spicy foods, then simply replace this rice item with any other non spicy rice dish to eat with my Spring Onion Egg. However, it is my suggestion to try at least once this different style rice item. Believe me, even if you don’t like spicy item, you will be in love with it. Both of my recipes are very healthy and delicious. It take very time to make them. So let’s start with the recipes one by one.

1. Mexican Chili Rice:

The first one we will be learning today is Mexican Chili Rice. Let’s check how to do this:

Mexican Chili Rice

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Black rice 1 cup ( You will get at any departmental store. It can also be replaced by brown rice)
White seasme seed 1 tsp
paprika powder 3 tsp ( You can use less amount if you don’t want to make it spicy)
Freshly chopped red chili 4 tsp
Chopped garlic 2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Olive oil 4-5 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method Of Preparation: We Can Make This Delicious Dish By Following 2 Simple Steps:

Step 1

Soak the rice into cold water for 10 minutes. Now boil the rice properly. Strain out the excess water after the rice is boiled enough and keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Now add chopped garlic into it. When the raw smell of garlic will go off, add chopped red chili. Saute for a minute. Now add the boiled black rice into it. Fry it on a high flame. Add lemon juice, salt and paprika powder into it. Fry for about 5 minutes. Switch off the flame.

Our Mexican Chili Rice is ready.

2. Spring Onion Egg:

Now we will be making Spring Onion Egg. This can be made very easily. Let’s check the ingredients and process for making this:

Spring Onion Egg

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Spring onion cut into 1/2 inch size 1/2 cup
Onion cut into dice 1 cup
Egg 3
Chopped green chili 1 tsp
Chili powder 1/4 tsp
Green peas 1 cup
Salt to taste
Olive oil 3-4 tsp

Method Of Preparation: Let’s Follow The Following Steps To Make This Simple And Delicious Recipe:

Step 1

Boil the eggs. Cut them into halves. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the boiled egg. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Add spring onion, diced onion, green peas into it. Fry them for 5 minutes on high flame. Now add salt, chili powder and chopped green chili into it. Saute for 2 minutes.

Step 3

When the mixture will start leaving oil, add fried eggs in to it. Mix the egg with the green peas mixture. Switch off the flame. The Spring onion egg is ready to serve.
