Sausage Stuffed Grilled Cabbage Roll:
Chicken sausage 4
Chopped Onion 2 tea spoons
Chopped Garlic 2 tea spoon
Chopped Parsley leaves 1 tea spoon
Mixed Herbs 2 tea spoon
Crushed black pepper 1 tea spoon
Chili Flakes 1 tea spoon
Cabbage leaf 4
Chopped bell pepper 2 tea spoon
Chopped Tomato 2 tea spoon
Lemon juice 1 tea spoon
Olive Oil 3 table spoon
Grated cheese 2 table spoon
Salt to taste.
First blanch the cabbage leaves carefully so that the green color remains intact. Heat oil in a non stick pan and add chopped garlic in it. Also add chopped onions and mixed herbs in it. Stir it generously.
Cut the sausage in to small pieces and add them in the pan. Add tomato, chopped bell pepper and chili flakes in it. Also add salt to taste and crushed black pepper in it. Cook it for some more time. Then add chopped Parsley, lemon juice and grated cheese in it. Stir it for 1-2 minutes and then turn off your gas.
Pour this mixture in the cabbage leaves and make the rolls with them. Now apply little oil in a non stick pan and grill the rolls. Do not forget to turn the other side. You can grill them in micro oven also. For that you have brush a little oil on each of the rolls and put them on the grill stand. Then turn on the grill mode of the micro oven and keep them for 4-5 minutes. Turn it to the other side while you are cooking them. Your Sausage Stuffed Grilled Cabbage Roll is now ready to serve.
Useful Tips For This Dish:
For blanching the cabbage leaves, first pour them in boiling water for about 5 minutes adding a pinch of salt in the water and then put them in a bowl of ice cold water immediately. Blanching of vegetable helps in retain the color of the vegetable.
