Every person love to eat snacks. Here is the recipe of an amazing snack naming Vegetable & Chicken Quiche. This is a very easy preparation that you can try it any day. This snack dish is basically a baked dish and so it is healthy. Lots of veggies are used in this dish which are also healthy.The dish needs simple ingredients and the cooking process is so simple. Vegetable And Chicken Quiche:
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Butter 1 cup
Refined Flour 3 cups
Baking Powder 1 tea spoon
Cheese ¼ cup (grated)
Water as required
Carrot 1 cup (chopped)
French beans 1 cup (chopped)
capsicum ½ cup (chopped)
Chopped Onion 4 table spoon
Garlic 1 table spoon (chopped)
Mixed Italian Spice 1 tea spoon
Chili Flakes 1 yea spoon
Chopped Parsley 1 tea spoon
Chicken 2 cup (boiled, make small pieces of chicken and then boil it)
fresh cream ½ cup
Mozzarella Cheese as required
Tomato Puree 6 table spoon, Olive Oil a little.
First take a medium sized bowl. Pour refined flour and baking powder in it; mix well. Add butter and grated cheese in it; add required amount of water in it to prepare dough. Knead it well and keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Then take it out from the freezer and roll it in a thin round shape. If required you can sprinkle a little loose refined flour while rolling it, thus it does not stick to the counter or with your rolling pin.
Now set it in your pie mould. Bake it in your oven in 230 degree centigrade for 20 minutes.
Now prepare the filling. First steam all the veggies for 8-10 minutes in a steamer. Take a non stick pan and pour a little olive oil in it. Heat it in medium flame.
Add chopped onion and garlic in it; sauté it for a little. Now add the steamed veggies and cook them for a while. Add the entire spices one after one after another in it. Also add tomato puree and salt to taste.
Cook it until it is done. Add ½ cup of fresh cream in it and mix well. Remove it from flame and set it aside.
Pour the filling in to the Kish that you have baked previously. Now sprinkle plenty of grated mozzarella cheese on it and bake it for 20 minutes.
