Ingredients For The Italian Fig And Prosciutto Pizzettas Recipe:

1 knob of butter
Finely grated parmesan – 50 gram
Finely diced shallots – 3
Ripe figs, cut into chunks – 4
Full fat cream fraiche – 250 grams
Roughly torn, good quality buffalo mozzarella – 125 grams
Extra virgin olive oil – 2 teaspoon
Rocket – 2 handful
Good balsamic vinegar- 2 teaspoon
Prosciutto, torn into strips – 6 slices

Ingredients Needed For The Dough:

Olive oil – 4 teaspoon
Fast action dried yeast – 7 gram sachet
Salt- 1 teaspoon
White bread flour – 400 gram plus extra for dusting

Instruction About How To Prepare The Recipe:

Step 1:

The first step is about making the dough which require yeast and flour mixed into a bowl. Add oil into the flour followed by 250 ml of warm water. First, mix with a wooden spoon followed by your hands. This will make the dough dry, add more water if you require. Once the dough is ready, cover it with oiled cling film and then leave somewhere covered in a warm area for about an hour or until it becomes double of its size.

Step 2:

Till the time, the dough increases in size, heat the butter and a pan and add shallots and cook until it softens. finally place aside.

Step 3:

Set the oven at 220 degree Celsius. Flour the surface and then place the dough on the surface. Knead the dough once more to smoothen it. When it does, divide it into 6-8 balls. Roll each ball into thin circles and place on the baking sheet that are flour dusted.

Step 4:

In a big bowl, mix crème fraiche, parmesan, butter and shallots. Sprinkle some salt and lots of black pepper. After mixing well, spread uniformly on top of each rolled dough. When all the rolled dough are done with spreading, bake all of them into the oven for 10-15 minutes or until they become crispy at the edges and also puffed up slightly.

Step 5:

Mix mozzarella and figs with rocket and sprinkle on over of each Pizzettas along with prosciutto. Mix some olive oil and vinegar as well and drizzle few drops on top of each Pizzettas.

Step 6:
