Kid-Friendly Strawberry Panna Cotta Recipe

Today we are going to share the recipe of a very yummy dessert. It is called Strawberry Panna Cotta. You will be surprised how easy it is to make this lovely dessert. The name does sound complicated but it is actually really simple. This dessert is perfect for summers. Kids love desserts and so, you should definitely make this panna cotta at home.

You can make Panna Cotta with other fruits also such as cherry, kiwi or even peach. However today our interest lies in this  yummy strawberry panna cotta which is an absolutely hit among kids. Let’s take a look at the recipe.

Here Is The Recipe For Strawberry Panna Cotta :

Strawberry Panna Cotta

Preparation Time : 10 Minutes
Cooking Time : 5 Minutes
Serves : 4

Ingredients :

Milk – 200 ml
Whipping cream – 200 ml
Gelatin powder – 1/2 tbsp
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Fresh strawberries – 450 g
Water – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 70 g

Method :

Step 1

Dissolve the gelatin in cold water. Give it 10 minutes to swell up.

Step 2

Take a medium saucepan and bring the milk, cream and sugar to a simmer. You do not need to boil this. When the sugar gets dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and add the vanilla extract. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before you add the gelatin to it.

Step 3

Add the gelatin to the milk mixture once it has cooled down. Stir till the gelatin gets completely dissolved. Now pour the mixture in serving glasses. You can use any nice looking dessert glass. Keep these in the refrigerator for 6 hours.

For Strawberry Sauce-

Now is the fun part. To make the strawberry sauce, wash the fresh strawberries and remove the leaves. Cut them into quarters.

Step 5

Take a saucepan and put the strawberries in them. Add water and sugar and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat.

Step 6

Put this strawberry mixture in the food processor and blend it. Make a smooth sauce. Pass it through a strainer. Make sure you remove the seeds from the sauce. Let it cool. Refrigerate it till it gets ready to serve.

Step 7

Pour the strawberry sauce over the yummy panna cotta and serve it to your little kids. Your Strawberry Panna Cotta is ready to eat! Make your kids happy this weekend. They will absolutely go bonkers over this dessert. It is easy, fun and so super delicious!
