The luscious chicken with the drizzling sauce is what you will learn to cook today. As it is a Japanese dish, the name suggests that it is made by grilling or broiling. In japan, it is made with lots of soy sauce and the rice wine called mirin. However, here you are going to make slight changes to the recipe.

Ingredients Required To Prepare This Recipe:
• Soy sauce – 1 cup
• Brown sugar – 1 ½ teaspoon
• Granulated sugar – 1 cup
• Grated fresh ginger – 2 teaspoon
• 3 inch of Cinnamon stick – 1
• Cornstarch – 2 teaspoon
• Skinless and boneless chicken thighs – 8
• Pineapple juice – 1 teaspoon
• Freshly ground black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
• Garlic clove, crushed in peas – 6
Let’s Go Through The Method Of Preparing This Recipe:
Start with a small saucepan. Into the saucepan, add all the ingredients that you have taken for the recipe, except for the chicken and the Cornstarch. Place it over the heat. The setting should be high. Stir all these ingredients to mix properly. After this, you have to wait for the ingredients to boil. One it starts boiling, you have to add sugar to it and also adjust the setting to very low. Allow the ingredients to cook for at least 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, remove the pan from the heat and place aside. Now you have to remove the cinnamon stick as it is of no use now. After removing the recipe from the heat, you can mix in about ½ cup of water.
You have to put the chicken into a large plastic bag. Seal the bag after adding soy sauce mixture to it. Turn the plastic bag so as to coat chicken properly. This is useful in giving the chicken a unique taste as that will make the overall recipe even more delicious. Now you can keep it into a refrigerator. Do not remove for at least an hour. If you can, store it into the refrigerator for at least overnight. this will help in further cooking the recipe.
After an hour or the next morning, you have to remove the chicken from the refrigerator and place aside. Empty the entire mixture into a small saucepan. Now allow the mixture to boil. For this, keep the setting high. Once it starts boiling, adjust the setting again to low. Now you have to mix the Cornstarch again with 2 teaspoon of water and then to the pan. Stir the mixture to the extent that it starts thickening. When it becomes quite thick, add about ½ a cup of water. If you have taken the previous quantities in small amount, then add less water. The point should be not to make it too watery. Make sure that the consistency of the mixture is the same as of the heavy cream. Finally, remove it from the heat and place aside.
You have to set the broiler or a grill. Heat it enough. Take the chicken pieces and brush it lightly from all the sides with the sauce. Either grill or broil these chicken pieces for about 3 minutes. This is not 3 minutes overall but three minutes for each side. This will make the chicken turn golden brown in colour from each side and even crunchier. While the chicken is cooking, you can heat the sauce. Let the sauce boil, one it does, reduce the setting to low again and add some water, not enough. Do not add all the water at the same time but keep on adding a bit at a time. This will prevent it from becoming too runny.
