These cookies taste really delicious and it’s very easy to prepare this heavenly Cinnamon Crinkle cookies. Those who love the taste of cinnamon will love this cookie, no doubt in that. These cookies are Sweet, Chewy and full of marvelous cinnamon flavor. The coated powdered sugar gives the cookies the perfect crinkle look and it melts in your mouth. We can have this anytime and you won’t be tired having it. We are preparing gluten free cookies if you want it the other way you can replace all purpose flour with Oats flour.
We will start preparing this by first melting our butter and then mixing the Oats flour, ground Cinnamon, Kosher Salt and Baking powder together and will keep this aside, next we’ll take a stand mixer and whisk Granulated sugar and Powdered sugar and add in the melted Butter and run the stand mixer to a medium speed , once it is nicely combined will add Vanilla extract and Eggs and mix it nicely. We will finish preparing our dough by adding the flour mixture and mixing it until it is incorporated. Will make dough balls and roll over the powdered sugar and arrange them on the parchment paper tray and will bake until set. And yeah our marvelous Butter Cinnamon Crinkle is ready to relish.
Let’s List The Ingredients Required And Start Preparing Our Delicious Gluten Free Cinnamon Crinkle Cookies
Oats flour – 2 1/2 cups
Unsalted butter – 1 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Kosher salt – 1/2 tsp
Eggs – 2
Granulated sugar – 1 cup
Light brown sugar – 1/4 cup
Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
Ground cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Step by Step Instructions
Preheat the oven to 360 degree and line the oven with parchment or butter paper and set this aside.
Take a skillet and place the butter for melting it. Cook over medium to low heat until the butter melts and gets foamy, cook for few more minutes whisking it frequently until it changes its colour into amber, this will take about 2 to 3 minutes. Allow the butter to cool.
Now in a bowl take Oats flour, Cinnamon, Baking powder and Kosher Salt and whisk them nicely and set this aside. To the stand mixer bowl add the Granulated sugar
and light brown Sugar and mix it with the help of paddle, now add in the cooled Butter and mix on medium speed until it is nicely incorporated, then add Eggs and Vanilla extract and again mix until it is smooth. Now will add in the flour mixture to the stand mixer bowl and will nicely mix until it is incorporated. Chill this for about 1 hour in refrigerator. This makes the dough easy to handle (Chilling is optional)
Take 1 tbsp of dough and make balls out of it. In a small tray take powdered sugar and roll the dough balls on it and arrange them on the prepared parchment paper lining giving
a 2 inch space between the balls. Bake this for about 10 to 12 minutes if you want the cookies to be soft, you can bake this for more time if you want it little crunchy. Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes if you want it to be crunchy.
Allow the cookies to cool in the pan itself for few minutes, then remove the pan from the oven and cool the cookies in the cooling rack.
Your delicious Cinnamon crinkle Cookies is ready to relish. You can have it straight away or store in an airtight container and have it whenever you wish.
