Here Is The Recipe For Cilantro Ginger Halibut:
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Garlic clove – 1
Jalapeno pepper – 1/2
Chopped fresh ginger – 1 (1/2 an inch)
Lime juice (freshly squeezed) – 3 tbsp
Cilantro leaves – 1 cup
Olive oil – 6 tbsp
Ground black pepper
Halibut fillet – 4
Method Of Preparation:
Combine the lime juice, ginger, garlic, cilantro and jalapeno pepper in a blender jar. Pour in the olive oil and cover it and pulse it. Blend it till the mix turns smooth and green. It should turn bright green. Season it with black pepper and salt.
Now you need to season the halibut fillet with black pepper and salt. Now you would need to brush the halibut fillet with about 1 tbsp of cilantro sauce.
You would need a large skillet with about an inch of water in it. Make sure it is high sided. Bring it to a boil. Keep it on high heat.
Now for this recipe you need a steamer basket. Place it in the skillet over the water. Arrange the halibut fillets in the basket. Cover it and steam it till the fish gets cooked. It should be moist and tender. It should take about 5 minutes or so.
