I used big size prawn to make this recipe. However, it can be done with medium size prawn as well. This dish can go amazing with any rice item.Brown rice usually does not taste good unless you make it in some tasty way. If you simply make brown rice and eat that with this delicious prawn item, the taste will become superb. The taste of this recipe is little tangy, and juicy. Prawn In Lemon Cream Sauce:

We would need some very easily available ingredients to make this recipe.
100 grams of big size prawn ( you can use medium size prawn as well)
3 tsp of lemon juice
1 lemon leaf
100 ml of coconut milk
30 ml of fresh cream
2 tsp onion paste
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp white pepper powder
4 tsp olive oil
salt to taste
1 tsp freshly chopped cilantro
1 cup water
Method Of Preparation:
Let’s check some simple steps to make this delicious dish.
Remove the green gland from the head of each prawn and wash them thoroughly. If you don’t take out the green gland from the head of prawn, it may cause physical illness.
Marinate all the prawns with 1 tsp lemon juice, salt, 1 tsp white pepper powder, 1/2 tsp garlic paste and 1/2 tsp onion paste for 15 minutes. Keep them aside.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Now add 1 tsp of garlic paste and 1/2 tsp of onion paste in to it. On medium heat,saute them until the raw smell of garlic goes off. After that add all the marinated prawns in to it. Mix the prawns with the fried onion-garlic paste. Now add 1 cup of water in to it. Add salt, lemon leaf, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 tsp of onion paste in to the water mixture. Mix everything properly. Cover the frying pan with a lid. Keep it on low flame till the prawns become boil.
When all the prawns will become boiled, take them out of the gravy. Keep them on a separate platter.
Now add rest of the onion paste, white pepper powder, coconut milk in to the gravy and mix everything well.
You can get coconut milk at any departmental store. However, I would suggest you to make this at home because the taste of freshly made coconut milk is superb. To make coconut milk at home, you need to soak 1 cup of crushed coconut in to lukewarm water for 20 minutes. Then strain the water from the milk in a bowl. Your coconut milk is ready.
When the gravy will become thick, add little lemon juice in to it. Now add fresh cream with it. Increase the flame and boil it for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, switch off the flame. Add some chopped cilantro with it and mix them.
Pour this gravy on top of the prawn. Pour 1 tsp of fresh cream on the top. Keep it like this for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, serve it with any rice item.
