Recipe For Chinese Casserole At Home

Everybody loves Chinese food. Almost every Chinese dishes are healthy, tasty and very easy to make at home. Your children hardly like to eat vegetables. But vegetables are very essential for the growth of children. If you make some tasty, delicious cuisine by using vegetables, they will love to eat that. Today I am going to share such a dish which is full of vegetables and very tasty. Since it has a lot of vegetables into this cuisine, it definitely is a vitamins and mineral rich dish. So friends, let’s learn how to make Chinese Casserole at home with some very easily available vegetables and items.

We will be making 4 quick items and then they will be cooked together for a while to make Chinese Casserole. Let’s check what are they:

1. Garlic Noodles
2. A Curry With Full of Vegetables
3. Sweet and Sour Sauce
4. Chili Garlic Sauce

Chinese Casserole

Let’s learn all them one by one.

Step 1:

The first step is to make the Garlic Noodles. Let’s check how to make it.

Ingredients To Make Garlic Noodles:

6 cups water
1 tsp salt
2 small packets of noodles
4 tsp olive oil
4 tsp chili-garlic sauce.

Method Of Preparation:

Boil the noodles in salted water. After that strain noodles using a strainer. Add oil in a frying pan. Then put noodles, salt, chili-garlic sauce one by one. Mix them well until all noodles are coated with chili-garlic sauce. Keep it aside.

Step 2:

In this step we will be making the Vegetable Curry. Let’s check what we would require and how to make it.

Ingredients To Make The Vegetable Curry:

1 and 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
3/4 cup finely chopped carrot.
1/2 cup finely chopped beans
1 cup finely chopped Capsicum ( I used a combination of green, red and yellow)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green onion
3/4 cup bean sprouts
2 tsp chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/2 cup olive oil
salt as per taste

Method Of Preparation:

Heat oil in a big frying pan. Now add celery, carrot, bean sprouts, onion, cabbage, capsicum, green onion, spinach one after another. Increase the heat. Fry all the vegetables for 5 minutes. Now add salt and mix properly. Switch off the flame and keep aside. You can also add boiled chicken pieces to make it more tasty.

Vegetable Curry

Step 3:

Well, now we are ready with the noodles and the vegetable curry. Now we will learn how to make the Sweet and Sour sauce. Let’s check what we need for that.

Ingredients To Make Sweet And Sour Sauce:

2 cup water
3 tsp soya sauce
2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 tsp chili sauce
1 pinch salt
1 and 1/2 tsp cornflour

Method Of Preparation:

In a bowl mix all the ingredients together and switch on the flame. keep stirring. When it will become thick, switch off the flame.

Sweet And Sour Sauce

Step 4:

Now we will be making the last one- Chili Garlic Sauce. But remember one thing, if you don’t like chili, simply skip this step. Let’s check how to make chili garlic sauce.

Ingredients To Make Chili Garlic Sauce:

4 dry red chili
5 clove garlic
1/2 cup water

Method Of Preparation:

Make a smooth paste using all of these ingredients.

Step 5:

We are ready with all of our items to make Chinese Casserole. Now take a casserole. Grease it with oil. Now put the garlic noodles into it. Put the vegetable curry over the noodles. After that, top it with the sweet and sour sauce and chili garlic sauce. Cover it with the lid. Now put the Casserole into microwave at 180 degree centigrade and let it be cooked for 5 minutes. Take out the casserole from oven after 5 minutes. Mix everything lightly and serve hot.
