Recipe For Delicious Abalone Porridge Recipe At Home

This dish is for the seafood eaters. In this we take the abalone and cook it. In this dish there is the porridge also with the rice. There are so many of the green vegetables also. It also has the taste of the fish sauce. To add the flavours it has the seaweed paper.

Delicious Abalone Porridge Recipe

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes
Cooking Time- 20 Minutes
Serves- 2

Ingredients:

Abalone- 4 to 5
Rice- 1 cup
Sesame oil- 2 tablespoon
Garlic- 3 cloves
Carrot- 2
Green onion- 3 stalks
Water- 5 cup
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Fish sauce- 1 tablespoon
Egg- 1
Seaweed paper- 1 sheet

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

First, prepare 4 to 5 frozen or freesh abalone by adding some salt over it, scrub with sponge, clean it with a brush in running water, now take out the flesh from the flat and middle of the shells with knife then remove the internal organs separately from the flesh by using spoon, wash the abalone in running water properly and put in bowl put it aside.

Step 2

Further take 1 cup of short grain rice, soaked it for 3 hour the longer you soak the rice, the finer the porridge, strain the rice and put it aside. Now let’s prepare vegetables before cooking for this take 3 garlic cloves minced it and 2 carrots and 3 stalks of green onions chopped it nicely into small pieces then cut abalone into thinly slices.

Step 3

Take a thick pan put it over medium heat and pour 2 tablespoon of sesame oil into it as the oil is hot in the pan, add chopped garlic saute it for 30 seconds, add abalone intestines keep stirring after couple of seconds add pre soaked rice stir for 2 to 3 minutes until the rice looks little translucent.

Step 4

Now add the chopped abalone into the pan, add 5 cups of water stir, cover the pan with lid and cook for 10 minutes over medium high heat. After 10 minutes stir the porridge, add chopped carrot, green onions cover it and cook for another 10 minutes over low heat. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon fish sauce in porridge stir and mix properly then add 1 egg, cook for 1 minute and turn off the heat.

Step 5

Meanwhile take 1 sheet of seaweed paper roast for second over low flame, crushed it transfer the delicious porridge into serving bowl and add crushed seaweed paper at top and enjoy it.
