All purpose flour- 100 gm
Sugar- 40 gm
Brown sugar- 2 tablespoon
Almonds- 30 gm
Baking powder- 1 teaspoon
Method Of Preparation:
First you need to take the sugar, put it in the blender and make the powder of it, now you need to take the flour, mix it with this sugar in the bowl, place this mixture to the sieve and sieve out the whole mixture, add baking powder to it and mix all the things well and keep it aside for sometime.
Now you need to take the vanilla, cut it from the middle, take the sharp knife and scratch the seeds from it, now make a paste of these seeds in in the pestle and take 1 tablespoon of the milk and mix the vanilla paste in it, stir it, till it completely dissolved in the milk.
Now you need to take the butter in the deep bowl, place this bowl to the dough making machine, you need to set the speed of the machine to the medium and make the smooth paste of the butter, make sure that there should be soft peaks in the butter, add the sugar to it, add the vanilla mixture to it, mix all the things at low speed and get the thick paste.
Now you need to take the flour, add this to the bowl, crack 2 eggs in it, now set the speed of the machine to the medium again and leave it for 2 minutes, so that all the things will be combined and you will get a smooth dough of it, dust the flour with plenty of the flour, take out the dough from the bowl, place it on the board, knead it to make it extra smooth.
Cut the dough into four equal sections, now take one section, roll it with the hand and make a long snake like structure, the thickness should be of just one inch, now take the roller and roll the surface and make it flat of about 2 inches and the thickness should now reduce to half of an inch, cut the top and side, so that the shape will be of rectangular.
Take the almonds, cut it into small pieces, now take the pan, add the water to it, put it on the low flame, as the water is hot, add the brown sugar to it, add the almonds to it and caramelized the whole mixture in it, allow it to cool.
Place this almond mixture on the bars, now take the brush and apply plenty of the butter on it, place this inside the oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 20 minutes, now take it out, cut it into slices and served it. The delicious Scandinavian almonds bars is ready to eat.
