Recipe For The Delicious Cheddar Bacon Scones At Home

This is easy to cook dish. In this we first fry the marinated bacon, then we mix the butter and flour, we also mix the mixture of the egg and heavy cream to it, we add the cheddar and bacon to it, we make the dough of it, we roll it and cut it into pieces, then we place this to the baking tray, apply the shredded cheddar and bake it in the hot oven and served it.

Cheddar Bacon Scones

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 25 Minutes
Serves- 3


Flour- 200 gm
Granulated sugar- 1 tablespoon
Baking powder- 1 teaspoon
Salt- as per taste
Sharp cheddar- 100 gm
Butter- 1 knob
Heavy cream- 50 gm
Green onions- 2
Eggs- 2
Milk- 20 ml

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the sharp knife, take the bacon, place it to the chopping board, cut it into small pieces, with the help of the hands, shred the bacon into pieces, add little bit of the black pepper and smoked paprika in it, mix it properly, cover it with the clean foil and leave it for sometime.

Step 2

Take the clean and dry skillet, put it on the medium heat, take the garlic cloves, peel it properly, crushed it, chopped it very fine, so that it will form a paste of it, now remove the film of the bowl, take out the marinated bacon, add this to the pan.

Step 3

fry the bacon at the low heat, with the help of the spatula, stir it regularly, so that it will get cooked from all the sides and get crispy, place this to the kitchen paper and soaked the fat in it, there will fat in the skillet, throw it out.

Step 4

Take the big clean and dry deep bowl, add the all purpose flour to it, add the granulated sugar to it, take the small pieces of the butter, with the help of the fingers, mix it properly, so that there will be consistency of the breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Now place this mixture to the dough making machine and ON the machine at a very low speed, crack the egg in the bowl, add the heavy cream in it, whisk it properly so that all the egg will be mixed with the cream, add this cream to the flour, increase the speed of the machine and mix all the things, as all the things are getting accumulated, add the crispy bacon to it, add little bit of the melted butter to it.

Step 6

Take out the mixture from the machine to the floor, now with the help of the hand knead it together and get the soft dough, apply little bit of the water to your hands while kneading,  roll it with the roller so that there will be a thickness of the 1 inch, with the help of the circle cutter, get the exact shape of the circle.

Step 7

Take the knife, apply little bit of the oil to it, now cut the circle into 6 equal pieces, now take the baking tray, apply the butter on it, place the scones on it, now apply little bit of the butter to it, add the shredded cheddar to it, place this inside the oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 10 minutes, take it out and served it hot.
