Recipe For The Delicious Cheesy Bacon Tater Tots At Home

This is the delicious dish, which we can enjoy at the dinner and at the evening snacks, it is easy to cook and healthy, in this dish we first boil the potato, we grate it, we make the balls of it, we coat it with the egg mixture and then we fry it, we also fry the chopped bacon, we cut the onions and garlic, we fry it also, we then put all of them in the baking tray, grate it with the parmesan cheese, we bake it and served it in slices.

Cheesy Bacon Tater Tots

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking time- 30 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients-

Potatoes- 2
Cinnamon powder- 1 teaspoon
Ground cumin- 1 teaspoon
Eggs- 2
Parsley chopped- 1 teaspoon
Butter- 20 gm
Cooking oil- 500 ml
Bacon- 5 strips
Parmesan cheese- 150 gm
Red wine- 20 ml
Dried Oregano- 1 teaspoon
Onion- 1
Garlic- 3 cloves
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation-

Step 1-

First you need to take the potatoes, clean it properly, now put it in the bowl, add the water in it, season it with the salt and pepper, cover the lid and put it on the low flame and boil it for about the 10 minutes, after the given time, insert the toothpick, if it comes out easily, then drain the water and cool down the potato.

Step 2-

Now you need to take the potatoes, peel it properly, grate the potatoes gently, add cinnamon powder, cumin powder to it, season it with the salt and pepper, add little bit of the oil to it also, knead it properly to make the soft dough, apply the oil to the soft hands and then make the small balls from the potato dough.

Step 3-

Take the bowl, crack the egg in it, add the chopped parsley to it, add some of the pepper to it also, beat it properly, so that the bubbles in the mixture will be formed, take the deep frying pan, add the cooking oil to it, put it medium flame, make it hot, add a small piece of the potato to it, if there are bubbles then you need to place 4 balls in the oil and fry it, so that there will be golden color to the balls, tater tots are ready.

Step 4-

Take the skillet, add some of the butter to it, put it on the medium flame, as the butter is melted, add the chopped bacon strips to it, shake the pan continuously and fry the bacon, until it become golden brown and crispy, take it out to the kitchen pan also, peel and chopped the onions very fine, crush the garlic and chopped it also.

Step 5-

Now take the same bacon skillet, add the garlic first fry it, then add the onions, fry it for sometime, now again add the bacon along with some red wine in it, fry all the things for about 2 minutes.

Step 6-

Take the baking tray, grease it with the oil, now place the tater tots first, then add the mixture of the bacon, now take the parmesan cheese and make a thick layer of it, place this to the oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 15 minutes, now take it out, sprinkle dried oregano on the top of it, take the serving plate and served it in slices. The delicious cheesy bacon tater tots are ready to eat.
