Recipe For The Delicious Chicken and Mushroom Cobbler At Home

In this dish, we fry the bacon, garlic, onion in the melted butter, then we add the chunks of the chickens and mushrooms to it and fry it, then we add the flour, white wine and the chicken stock to it. We also make the dough of the flour, egg, thyme, coriander, buttermilk and egg, then we make the layer of the dough and bake it. Butter- 100 gm
Garlic- 2 cloves
Onions- 2
Whole chicken- 1
Bacon- 4 strips
Mushrooms- 250 gm
White wine- 100 ml
Chicken stock- 1 cube
Flour- 200 gm
Thyme- 1 sprig
Coriander- 1 sprig
Butter milk- 100 ml
Egg- 2

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First we take the pan, put it on the low heat, add the butter in it and melt it. Now take the bacon, chopped it in chunks, now take the garlic, crushed it and slice it, now take the onion, peel it and chopped it very fine. Take the whole chicken, remove the skin of it, take out the maximum meat from it, now cut it into equal pieces.

Step 2

Now take the mushrooms, cut it into similar size to the chicken. Now in the pan, add the bacon fry it for 1 minute, now add the onions and the garlic to it, as it is soften, add the chicken and mushroom to it, then leave it for the sometime, so that the color is changed.

Step 3

Now take the flour and add this to it. Now add the white wine to it, then crumble 1 chicken stock cube in it, now add the boiling water in it, mix all the things very well. Now take the jar, add the flour to it, now mix it with the cold butter.

Step 4

Now take the fresh chopped coriander and thyme and add this to it, now crack 2 eggs in it, add butter milk to it, now mix it to make the soft dough of it, now take out the chicken and mushroom mixture in the bowl, now take out the chunks of the flour and add this on the top of it, cover the whole mixture from it. Egg wash on the top.

Step 5

Now place this inside the oven at 180 degree celcius for about the 30 minutes, now take it out and served it. The dish is ready to eat.
