The pastry is so delicious and there are so type pastry in the market. The oranges with the chocolate brownie is so yummy and you will love to eat this . The recipe is not so easy but here is the step by step easy process by which you can have this delicious pastry in the home.
Preparation Time- 25 Minutes
Cooking Time- 50 Minutes
Plain flour- 250 gm
Caster sugar- 150 gm
Golden syrup- 1 tablespoon
Chocolate- 250 gm
Butter- 100 gm
Brown sugar- 200 gm
Self raising flour- 75 gm
Cocoa powder- 40 gm
Double cream- 100 ml
Methods Of Preparation:
First in deep bowl and then add the flour into it and then you need to add the butter into it, then add the caster sugar into it, then add the zest of the orange into it, now at the last add the egg into it, now mix all of them together and then make a soft dough.
Now roll the dough to make the circular disk about an inch thick, now take the thin film and then wrap the dough into it and then place this inside the refrigerator.
Now take it out from the refrigerator and then dust some of the plain flour into the board and now you need to roll it into the thin circular disk. Now take the cake pan and put some of the olive oil into it and the place this disk into it and the press from the corner and then in the empty part add the butter paper and then add the baking beans into it.
Now place this inside the oven for about the 10 minutes. For the brownie, you need to take the bowl add the plain chocolate, butter and sugar into it and then add the sugar into it and finally add the brown sugar. Now add slightly water and put it on the medium flame and the stir it so that the chocolate will be melted.
As the mixture is cool then add the eggs into it and then add the flour and the zest of some more of the oranges, now again mix it well. Now take out the pastry pan and then add this mixture into it and then fill it with chocolate mixture, then place this in the oven and then again place it inside the oven for the 10 minutes.
For ganache, in a bowl take the 150 ml of the double cream and then add the 1 tablespoon of the golden syrup, now mix it. Now take the crushed 200 gm of the plain chocolate and then dump it into the mixture. Now put it on the low flame and keep on stirring it till the brown colour.
Now take out the cake from the oven, and add the ganache to the remaining part of the mixture, with the help of the spoon make the even layer of it and if you want to have the flavour of the dry fruits also then you can add the dry nuts also on the top of it.
Now take the another bowl and then add the 100 ml of the water into it and then add the 100 gm of the caster sugar into it and then put this on the medium flame, now take the zest of the oranges make sure that these are long enough, now put these in the boiling mixture and then cook it for the 10 minutes.
Now sprinkle this zest on the top of the cake and then place this inside the refrigerator so that it will get set. Now take it out and cut it into the slices and enjoy the cake pastry.
