Recipe For the Delicious Cilantro Lime Chicken and Rice At Home

This is the delicious dish for the non-vegetarians, in this we cut the boneless pieces of the chicken thighs, now marinate it with the cumin, garlic and onion powder, now fry it with the pan in hot oil, now fry the whole chicken, we also boil the white rice in the salted water, we make the chicken stock and then cook the chicken in it, we add the rice to it, then we add plenty of the cilantro to it, now we grate the Parmesan cheese to it, we bake it and eat with the mayonnaise.

Cilantro Lime Chicken and Rice

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 50 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients

White rice- 200 gm
Onion- 1 small
Garlic- 3 cloves
Cumin- 1 teaspoon
Chili powder- 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder- 1 teaspoon
Chicken thighs- 300 gm
Vegetable oil- 3 tablespoon
Butter- 1 tablespoon
Chicken stock- 2
Lime zest- 1 teaspoon
Cilantro- 40 gm chopped
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation

Step 1

First you need to take the white rice in the bowl, clean it in the running water, add the water to the bowl, add few drops of the oil to it, now add the white rice to it, cover the lid and put it over low flame, now boil it for about the 10 minutes, drain the water and keep it to the separate bowl, add little bit of the melted butter to it.

Step 2

Now take the bowl, add the warm water to it, take out the little bit of the water to it, now crumble 2 chicken stock cube in it, mix it well and put this to the warm water, now mix it well so that there will be even mixture of the chicken stock.

Step 3

Take the chicken thigh, cut out the meat from it, put it in the bowl, clean it with the water, now add the cumin powder, chili powder, garlic powder to it, season it with the salt and pepper, mix all the things well, now take the skillet, put it on the low heat, add oil to it, as the oil is hot, add the chicken to it, toss it for about the 10 minutes, over the medium low heat, make sure the spices will not get burnt.

Step 4

Take the onions and garlic, peel it and chopped it very fine, add this to the chicken mixture, now fry it well, add the chicken stock to it, leave the mixture for about the 10 minutes with the covered lid, when the volume is reduced to half of it, then take add the boiled rice to it.

Step 5

Now mix it well and cook it for about the 5 minutes, take the lime juice to it, mix it, take out the zest of the lime to it, now mix it well, chopped the cilantro very fine, now take it out from the flame and allow it to cool, now take the Parmesan cheese to it, grate it on the top of it, now brush the top of it with the beaten mixture, now place this inside the oven for about the 15 minutes.

Step 6

Now take it out, served it in the serving plate, add the butter on the top of it, now grate little bit of the ground nutmeg to it, mix it with the mayonnaise sauce to it and enjoy this delicious dish at home.
