Preparation time- 15 minutes
Cooking time- 45 minutes
Serves- 4


Bacon- 300 gm
Smoky Gruyere cheese- 300 gm
Egg- 4
Heavy cream- 2 cups
Rapeseed oil- 50 ml
All purpose flour- 200 gm
Milk- 100 ml Spinach- 400 gm
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon
Nutmeg- 1 teaspoon

Methods of preparation

Step 1

First take the all purpose flour in the bowl, now add the ice cube butter, now slowly mix it to the flour with the tip of the fingers, now get the breadcrumbs consistency, now beat the egg in the bowl and mix it well with the flour.

Step 2

Now place this inside the dough making machine, now add the milk from the top of it, as the dough is elastic enough, take it out and tap it on the flour, now cut it into balls and now roll the balls to make the flat surface of it.

Step 3

Now take the bowl, add the water to it, now put it on the medium heat, as the water starts boiling add the red beans to it, add little bit of the salt to it, boil it for about 10 minutes, now drain the water from it. Take the strips of the bacon, chopped it into fine pieces.

Now take the pan, put it on the low heat, add the butter to it, now fry the bacon to it till it become crispy. Now take the egg white in the bowl, whisk it nicely, now add the rapeseed oil to it, very slowly, whisk it fast, so that there will be soft peaks on  it.

Now crack 3 eggs in the bowl, whisk it, add the double cream to it, now add the salt to taste, pepper and ground nutmeg, now whisk all the things very well, now mix it with the egg white mixture.

Step 6

Now cut the leaves of the spinach, clean it, now put it into bowl, add the water, cover the lid and place this on the medium flame and cook it for about the 10 minutes, now drain the water and squeeze the water from it. Now in the blender jar, add the spinach along with the boiled red beans, add little bit of the salt to it, now make the smooth paste of it.

Step 7

Now take the tin, place the dough to it, now tap to the edges of the wall, now take the folk and make the marks on the it, now place the fried bacon on it, add the spinach mixture on it make the even layer of it, now add the egg mixture to it, now take the grated Gruyere cheese and sprinkle over it.

Step 8

Now place this inside the oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 20 minutes, now take it out, cut it into slices and served it with the tomato sauce. The dish is ready to eat.
