Recipe For The Delicious Italian Turkey Meatloaf

Turkey Meatloaf is so delicious and this dish has it popularity in all over the world. The combination of the turkey sausage with the ground turkey and all the ingredients with spice give turkey a very nice taste and the flavour. You can get it in the big restaurants but you can cook it the restaurant style in the home kitchen also. Here is the list of step by step process for the turkey meatloaf:

Italian Turkey Meatloaf

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 90 Minutes
Serves- 2

Ingredients:

Olive oil- 2 tablespoon
Onions- 1 big chopped
Carrots- 1 cup chopped
Capsicum- 1 cup chopped
Garlic- 1 tablespoon
Oregano- 2 tablespoon
Rosemary- 1 tablespoon chopped
Turkey sausage- 20 ounces
Regular ground turkey – 20 ounces
Japanese bread crumbs- 200 gm
Ketchup- 2 tablespoon
Mozzarella cheese- 2 cup
Parmesan cheese- 1 cup
Cream- 1/4 cup
Pepper- 1/2 teaspoon
Eggs- 2

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

Chopped the fresh 1 onion into small pieces also chopped the garlic, carrots and the capsicum. Make the paste of the garlic. Now take pan and add the 2 table spoon of the olive oil in it. Make it hot and then add the chopped onions in it, cook it for 2 minutes and now add the chopped carrots and the capsicum into it. Cook it for the 5 minutes, now add the oregano about 2 table spoon crushed by the finger and the fresh rosemary leaves. Now cook it and till the aroma of the ingredients will start coming out. Now take them out in another plate and allow it to cool

Step 2

Now take the 20 ounces of the sweet Italian turkey sausage. Take out one of them and cut it from the middle vertically, now remove the cover of the sausage, now do this for all the turkey sausage and place it in a bowl, now add the 20 ounce of the regular ground turkey in it. Now add the 200 gm of the Japanese bread crumbs into it, add 2 table spoon of the ketchup into it, add 2 table spoon of sun dry tomatoes, add 2 cups of the shredded mozzarella cheese, add one cup of the grated parmesan cheese and add the 1/4 cup of the cream and then add the 2 eggs, and 1/2 teaspoon of the pepper and lastly add the salt as per your taste.

Step 3

Now mix it well by using your hands, now when the mixture is ready, mix all the vegetable into it and then again mix it. Now take the plastic food wrap about the 2 feet long and sprinkle the oil on it. Now take out the mixture on it. You can make the spicy or the normal dish, for this you have to take out the two equal weight of the mixture.

Step 4

Now take a half of the mixture and place it on the plastic foil, now from your hands make a rectangular shape and them cover it from the foil at one side now roll it and cover it, now roll it and lock it from the edges and make it tight, now place it in a aluminium foil and roll it and make it tight from the corners. If you want spicy dish then add the red chilli flakes to the remaining mixture and then again roll it and make it tight.

Step 5

Now place these in a preheated oven at 300 F for 1 hour and the 15 minutes, so that this will cook from the inside also. After the given time take it out and leave it for sometime. Now place it in a chopping board and then cut it into the pieces of about 1 inches circular disks. Now eat it with the sauce of the mayonnaise and garlic.
