Preparation Time- 15 Minutes
Cooking Time- 25 Minutes
All purpose flour- 2 cups
Salt- 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar- 1 tablespoon
Ginger juice- 1 tablespoon
Water- 1/2 cup
Methods Of Preparation:
First, take 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon ginger juice, and 1/2 cup water put all this ingredient into food processor grind it for 2 minutes to make a dough. Take out the dough from food processor knead by hand for about 5 minutes to make it soft, put cookie dough in plastic bag set it a side.
Take 2 tablespoon of pine nuts remove it tip then chopped it nicely put in a bowl and set it a side. Now take out cookie dough from plastic bag, sprinkle some flour over the surface of board and roll cookie dough with a rolling pin into a rectangular shape about 40 cm x 50 cm thick.
Now cut the flat cookie dough little 3 cm x 6 cm rectangles shape with sharp knife and make 4 slits in the middle of each piece of cookie dough nicely then push one side of the dough through the center slit to look like ribbon shape. Take remaining dough, roll it out with a rolling pin and cut into any of your favorite shapes by using cookie cutter.
Further take pan put it on heat pour 2 cups of vegetable oil into it as the oil is hot place all cookie in oil fry it for 5 to 6 minutes until it looks light golden brown in colour. Now lets make syrup for cookies for this place 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water into the pot bring it to boil for 15 minutes until the syrup become thick.
Turn off the heat add 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder into the thick syrup and mix it well. Now place all fried cookie into large bowl pour the delicious sweet syrup into it toss it nicely so that syrup stick over the cookie and sprinkles chopped pine nuts over the cookies and enjoy it with tea.
