Recipe For The Delicious Pasanjeok (Skewered Pancakes With Vegetables And Beef)

This is the dish of the beef and vegetables, in this we take the strips of the beef, then we make the sauce to marinate it of the soy sauce, honey, garlic and sesame oil. We sliced the carrots, green onions, asparagus and boiled it. Then we fix it into the skewer with the meat and wrap it in the batter, now we cook it and served with the dipping sauce.

Beef- 300 grams
Carrot- 2
Green onions- 10 stalks
Honey- 2 tablespoon
Garlic- 2
Ground black pepper- 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce- 3 tablespoon
Sesame oil- 5 tablespoon
All purpose flour- 3 cup
Asparagus- 8 stalks
Water- 5 cup
Salt- 2 teaspoon

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Take 300 grams of sirloin steak or beef, wash it properly in cold running water, trim it fat and cut it into 4 inches long and 2 inches wide strips. With the help of back of your knife make it soft by hitting heavily on the beef so that it absorb marinate sauce easily.

Step 2

Take a bowl put soft beef into it, add 2 teaspoon honey, 2 minced garlic, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoon sesame oil and 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper into it. Mix it well with spoon and put it into refrigerator for 2 hours.

Step 3

Meanwhile we have to prepare the vegetable for this take 2 carrot cut it into thick strips, 8 stalks asparagus and 9 stalks of green onion cut them into 5 inches large pieces.

Step 4

Take a pot pour 5 cup of water bring it boil on medium heat, put 2 pinch of salt into it and add all prepared vegetables accept green onion into boiling water only for 1 minutes then drain the water and quickly rinse the vegetables with cold water. Now take the skewer and fix all the vegetables and the meat to it.

Step 5

In large bowl add 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup water, some salt as per taste into it, mix well to make a nice batter. Place a fry pan on medium heat, pour 3 tablespoon oil into it as the oil become hot, slightly dip the vegetables skewer into batter and put it in a pan one by one and cook it for a minute.

Step 6

Flip it over after 1 minutes and cook it for another 2 minutes until both side become completely cooked and look light brown. Meanwhile we have to make dipping sauce for this take a bowl add 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoon vinegar, and 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions mix it well. Transfer the cooked in a serving plate with sauce and enjoy.
