Recipe For The Delicious Pear Crostata At Home

This is sweet delicious dish and you can add this to the Christmas party also. It is easy to cook, in this we first prepare the dough of the flour, cold butter and water, then we roll it in a thin layer, then we cut it into circular disk, we caramelized the pear, then we add the toasted raisins and cinnamon powder to it, then we place this in the disk, we egg wash the whole thing and cook it inside the oven and served it.

Pear Crostata

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 30 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients:

All purpose flour- 100 gm
Butter- 100 gm ice cooled
Water- 30 ml
Pears- 2
Sugar- 2 tablespoon granulated
Icing sugar- 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon powder- 1 teaspoon
Raisin- 20 gm
Egg- 1

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

All purpose flour in the large bowl, now add the a pinch of salt to it, now take the soft butter, cut it into small pieces, now mix the flour with the fingers so that there will be a nice breadcrumbs consistency in it.

Step 2

Now take the ice cold water, mix it with the flour, now make the soft dough of it, make sure that there should be smooth skin on the top of it, now wrap it in the clean foil, place this inside the refrigerator for about the 1 hours, so that it will get tight.

Step 3

Take the pear, clean it in the water, now peel it nicely, cut it into slices, take out the seeds of it, clean it again with the running water, now tap it with the kitchen cloth, now put the skillet on the low heat, add the water to it, now take the sugar, add this to the boiling water, now stir it regularly, leave it for about the 5 minutes.

As the bubbles start forming on the surface, add the pear in it, now cover the lid and leave it for about the 5 minutes, so that pear will have the caramelized flavor, now take the grill pan on the high heat, now toast the raisins in it, now add this to pear mixture, add the cinnamon powder to it also, mix all the things well.

Now take out the dough from the refrigerator, dust the board with plenty of the flour, now place the dough on it, now roll it in a thin sheet, take the big bowl of about 4 inch of diameter, now cut the circle from the dough, now take the baking tray, place the baking paper on it, now grease the baking paper with the melted butter.

Step 6

In the bowl, beat the egg, season it with the dried oregano, now place the pear mixture on the top of the disk, brush the edges with the egg mixture, now fold the edges to up side, so that it will have the shape of the bowl, now pour the egg mixture on the top of it, now preheat your oven at 180 degree Celsius, as the oven is preheated place this inside the oven for about the 15 minutes.

Step 7

Now take out it and place this on the place, now dust it with the icing sugar, add the pieces of the cherry on it, cut it into slices, now serve the slices in the serving plate. The dish is ready to eat.
