Delicious Piperade Basque

It is easy to cook dish, in this we slice the red and yellow pepper, mix it with the oil and bake it, then we boil the tomatoes and make the paste of it, then we fry the onions, garlic in the pan, we fry the tomatoes, add the chili flakes, turmeric, bay leaves, thyme to it, we fry it along with the red and yellow pepper, we crack the egg on it and bake the whole thing.

Ingredients:

Red pepper- 1
Yellow pepper- 1
Tomatoes- 4
Egg- 1
Onion- 1
Garlic- 1 clove
Olive oil- 1 shot
Bread- 1
Red Chili Flakes- 1 teaspoon
All spice- 1 teaspoon
Pepper- 1 teaspoon
Thyme- 3 sprig
Bay leaves- 2
Turmeric- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First take the red and yellow pepper, now cut them into thin slices, now take the baking tray, place the baking paper on it, now place the pepper on it, add little bit of the olive oil to it, season it with the salt and pepper, place this inside the oven at 200 degree Celsius for about the 15 minutes.

Step 2

Now take the tomatoes, place this in the bowl, filled with salted water, place this on the medium flame, leave the mixture for about the 8 minutes, now take it out and peel the tomatoes, place them inside the jar and make the smooth paste of it.

Step 3

Now take onion, peel and chopped it fine, do the same with the garlic cloves, now take the pan, put it on the medium heat, add the olive oil to it, add the onions and garlic to it, now fry it for sometime, season it with the salt and pepper, add the tomato paste to it, fry it also.

Step 4

As the tomatoes is bubbling, add the turmeric, thyme, bay leaves, all spices to it, mix it well, now take out the red, yellow pepper, place it in the pan, cook it for sometime.

Step 5

Now take the egg, crack it on the pan, place this again in the oven at 180 degree Celsius for about the 10 minutes, now take it out and served it with the slices of the onions.
