Ham- 2 kg
Star spice- 2
Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar- 50 gm
Dijon Mustard- 3 tablespoon
Coarse Mustard- 1 tablespoon
Black pepper- 1 teaspoon
Methods Of Preparation:
First you need to take the ham, clean it properly, take the big bowl, add the cold water to it, place the ham in it for about the 20 minutes, take it out and tap it with the kitchen cloth and make it completely dry, take the skillet over the medium flame, as the skillet is hot, add the star spice, cumin seeds and cloves in it, now roast all of them slightly, now take them out and allow it to cool.
Take the deep baking bowl, add the roast spices in it, now add the water in it, place the grill pan to it, now fill the water again, so that the water level is just touching the grill pan, now add the ham on it, place this inside the oven at 130 degree Celsius for about the 1 hour.
Take out the ham from the oven, with the help of the sharp knife, score the skin it with the aluminium foil, now again place it inside the oven at the same temperature for about the 45 minutes.
Take the pomegranate, cut it into quarter, now tap it from behind so that the seeds of the pomegranate will be out, keep them in the blending jar, now add little bit of the water, to it, add little bit of the ground black salt to it, now blend the whole things, take the sieve, pass the whole mixture and get the fresh juice of it.
Now take the deep bowl, put it on the medium heat, add the pomegranate juice to it, leave it for about the 1 minute, now add the brown sugar in it, stir it regularly and wait till the juice will reduce to its half, now take the mixture of the Dijon and coarse mustard, add this to the juice, now again stir it over the high heat, so that the mustard gets dissolve in the juice, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool.
Take out the ham from the oven, remove the aluminium foil from it, pour the juice on it, spread the juice to each part of the ham, now again place this in the oven at the same temperature for about 1 hour again, now take it out, allow it to cool down slightly, now with the help of the sharp knife, cut the thin slice of it, now place this on the serving plate and served it with the slices of the lime. The dish is ready to eat.
