Recipe For The Delicious Risotto with Peas And Prosciutto At Home

This is the delicious dish in which we first crumble the chicken stock in the lukewarm water, then we add the frozen peas to water, we fry the chopped prosciutto and then half boil the arborio rice, we fry the onions and garlic, we add the rice, peas and chicken stock to it, we add the fried prosciutto in it and get the thick consistency, we add the parmiggiano cheese and mix it, then we make the layer of the mozzarella cheese and melt the cheese in the oven and served it.

Risotto with Peas And Prosciutto

Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time- 45 Minutes
Serves- 4

Ingredients:

Onion- 1
Garlic- 2 clvoes
Arborio Rice- 100 gm
Prosciutto- 400 gm
White Wine- 100 ml
Chicken Stock- 1
Olive oil- 3 tablespoon
White wine- 40 ml
Parmiggiano Reggiano- 35 gm
Butter- 20 gm
Peas- 100 gm
Basil- 10 leaves
Mozzarella Cheese- 30 gm
Italian Seasoning- 1 teaspoon
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the lukewarm water in the glass, now crumble the chicken stock in it, mix it completely so that there will not be any lumps in it, take the basil leaves, put them in the jar, add the hot water and leave it for about the 5 minutes, now take it out and throw the water, cut it into pieces.

Step 2

Take the frozen peas, add them to the jar along with the water, take the deep bowl, add the arborio rice in it, add the water along with few drops of the water in it, season it with the salt and pepper, put it on the medium flame and cook it for 5 minutes only with the covered lid, drain out the water from it.

Step 3

Cut the prosciutto in the slices, take the pan, add the olive oil to it, put it on the medium heat, add the prosciutto in it, season it with a pinch of the pepper and cook it till the color of prosciutto is changed to the brown, take it out the tissue paper and soak the oil of it. In the same pan add the chopped onions, fry it for 2 minutes, then add the chopped garlic to it and fry it also.

Step 4

Add the half boiled rice in it, mix it add little bit of the water to it, add the peas to it, leave the mixture for sometime, now take the tooth pick and try to insert in the peas if it is inserting easily, then grate the cheese in it, other wise add more water in it and leave the mixture for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Mix the cheese with, now add the prosciutto it, mix it, now take the chicken stock, add the basil leaves in it, cover the lid and cook it again so that there will be a nice thick mixture of it, now place this in the bowl, grate the mozzarella cheese in it, so that there will be thick coat of it.

Step 6

Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius, now place the bowl inside it for about the 10 minutes, so that the cheese will get melted, now take it out, add the Italian seasoning on it, take the serving plate, cut the slices of it and carefully place it on the serving plate and served it. The dish is ready to eat.
