Recipe For The Delicious Salmon And Shiitake Onigiri At Home

This is the delicious dish in which we first cook the rice in the sesame oil and water, then we grill the seasoned salmon fillet and chopped it, then we caramelized the brown sugar in lime juice and soy sauce and add the chopped garlic, chili to it, then we fry the chopped mushrooms in the sesame oil, we mix all of this with the rice and then make the balls of it, we also place the nori sheets to the bottom and served it.

Serves- 3

Ingredients:

Soy sauce- 200 ml
Lime- half
Brown sugar- 1 tablespoon
Red chili- 1
Ginger- 6 gm
Garlic- 1 clove
Salmon- 100 gm
Sesame oil- 1 tablespoon
Shiitake mushrooms- 200 gm
Chili flakes- 1 teaspoon
Rice- 250 gm sushi
Water- 300 ml
Sesame seeds- 2 tablespoon
Salt- as per taste
Pepper- 1 teaspoon
Tobiko roe- 100 gm
Nori sheets- 2

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First you need to take the bowl, add the water to it, add little bit of the salt to it, add the sushi rice in it, stir it with the hands, so that the rice will be clean properly, drain the water, take the same bowl, add few drops of the sesame oil in it, put it on the low flame, add the water and rice in it, cover the lid and cook it for about the 10 minutes, after 10 minutes, take out the rice and drain the water and cool down the rice.

Step 2

Now take the salmon fillet, check that there should not be any thorns in it, season it with the salt and pepper, rub it on the fillet, take grill pan, add little bit of the sesame oil to it, place the salmon fillet on it, grill it from both the sides, so that it will have crispiness from outside and properly cooked from inside, now take out the seeds and chopped it very fine.

Step 3

Now take the pan, put it on the low heat, add the soy sauce to it, now squeeze lime juice in it with the brown sugar, as the sugar dissolves, add the chopped chili, garlic and onions to it, leave the mixture for about the 10 minutes, so that it will have a thick paste.

Step 4

Take the mushrooms, cut the bottom of it, now cut it into thin slices, now take the deep bowl, put it on the medium heat, add the sesame oil to it, now add a pinch of the chili flakes in it, as the oil is hot, add the mushrooms to it, fry the mushrooms for about 5 minutes, now add the soy sauce to it and cook it.

Step 5

As the rice is slightly warm, make 3 equal parts of the rice in three different bowl, now mix salmon fish, soy mixture and mushrooms mixture to the rice, use the soft hand, so that the rice will not be broken.

Step 6

Now take the nori sheets, cut the into rectangles of about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide, now make the balls or triangle shape of the rice and then place this on the nori sheet, so that any one can eat it easily, do this is process for all the rice bowl, take the serving plate and place the rice bowl alternatively, dust the sesame seeds on the top of it, served it. The dish is ready to eat.
