Recipe For The Delicious Sausage And Courgette Barley Risotto

This is the amazing dish of the sausage and courgette with the goodness of the barley. In this we cook the sausage in the mixture of the garlic, onions and white wine, then we add the chicken stock to it, we add the barley, last we add the courgette and then this dish is served.

Onion- 1
Garlic- 1 clove
Oil- 1 glug
Thyme- 2 sprig
Barley- 220 gm
White wine- 1 glass
Chicken stock- 1 cube
Courgette- 1
Butter- 1 knob

Methods Of Preparation:

Step 1

First take the bowl, put it on the low heat, as the pan is hot, add the oil to it, take the garlic, crushed it, peel it and chopped it very fine, now take the onions, peel it and slice it very fine, add this to the pan, season it with the salt and pepper, stir it regularly so that it will not get burn from the bottom.

Step 2

Now take the sausage, pull out the meat from the skin and put it in the bowl, now take season it with the salt and pepper, add little bit of the oil, add 1 tablespoon of the lime juice, mix all the things well.

Step 3

Now chopped the fresh thyme and add this to the onion mixture, now take the sausage and add this to the mixture also, now press the sausage to break it into the pieces, now take the white wine and add this to it.

Step 4

Now in the another bowl, take the chicken stock cube and crush it into this, now take the warm water and dissolve the cube in it, now take the barley and add this to the stock, now put it on the medium heat and boil it for sometime, now as the juice is sticky, add this in the sausage mixture.

Step 5

Now add the butter knob in the mixture and allow it to boil for about the 5 minutes, now take the courgette, chopped it into the thin cubes and add this to the mixture, now leave for the 30 minutes, now there will be a sticky mixture, take it out and served it in the bowl.
