Recipe For The Delicious Yachae-Hotteok ( Hotteok Filled With Vegetables And Dangmyeon)

This is the delicious dish in this we make the delicious dish by make the dough, then we cook the rice in so many of the spices, then we cook so many of the vegetables, now the rice the vegetables will get combined and then we get the delicious mixture for the filling, then we make the ball of the dough by filling the vegetables in it. Then it will be fried in the hot oil to make it crispy.

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes
Cooking Time- 10 Minutes
Serves- 3

Ingredients:

For Filling

Dangmyeon- 3 ounces
Soy sauce- 2 tablespoon
Sugar- 1 tablespoon
Ground black pepper- 1/4 tablespoon

Sesame Oil

Asian chives- 4 ounces
Onion- 2
Carrot- 2
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil- 3 cup
Long grain rice- 100 gm

For Dough

Luke warm water- 2 cup
Sugar- 2 tablespoon
Salt- 1/2 tablespoon
Active dry yeast- 2 tablespoon
All purpose flour- 2 cu
Vegetable oil- 1 tablespoon

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

First, take 1 cup luke warm water in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon sugar into it then add 2 tablespoon dry yeast into bowl, stir it well so that yeast dissolve completely, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into the same bowl mix it well. After 2 minutes, add 10 ounces of all purpose flour into the bowl mix it with spoon for 2 minutes so that dough become soft then put it aside for 2 hour until dough make it self double.

Step 2

After couple of minutes by using hand, knead the dough to make it soft, put it aside and let it keep rising while we make fillings. Further take hollow pan pour 4 cups of water and add 4 ounces of rice cover the pan with lid, cook it for 8 minutes until the rice will be cooked nicely and come over the top of it, now drain out the water from it and cool it down.

Step 3

Now take a pan, put it on medium flame pour 2 tablespoon oil into it as the oil in the pan is hot add dangmyeon into it, saute it for 1 minute then add 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar and ground black pepper around 1/4 tablespoon, saute it continuously with the rice so that all the things will be cooked. Turn off the gas and place the rice in a bowl.

Step 4

Further take 4 ounces of Asian chives, 2 medium size onions, 2 carrots wash them in water and chop them into very small pieces and mix them with cooked rice.

Step 5

Put a pan on heat pour 2 cups of vegetable oil into it, when temperature of oil reaches 350 degree F, turn the heat the medium then spread some vegetables oil in your palm so that dough will not stick and take medium size dough make it flat by using your hand. Take 2 tablespoon filling put it into centre of the dough and seal its edges to form a ball. Repeat the same process with remaining dough.

Step 6

As the oil in the pan is hot enough put the filled balls in oil cook it for 40 seconds then turn it into other side press it down by using spatula to make it flat. Cook it for 3 minutes until both side become crispy and little brown. Strain the excess oil and transfer it into the plate enjoy it. Now take the tomato sauce in another plate and enjoy this delicious dish.
