Potato dauphinoise is the dish of the baked chicken with the potato in it and then this is pour with the layer of the cream and then egg mixture and then again baked. Preparation Time- 20 Minutes
Cooking Time- 40 Minutes
Butter- 200 gm
Potatoes- 1.2 kg Edward
Salt- as per your taste
Pepper- 1 pinch
Double cream- 500 ml
Whole chicken- 1
Methods Of Preparation:
First of all take the whole chicken and then remove the skin of it and then apply the butter on it make a thick layer of the butter on it and then add the black pepper on it and then place this on the baking tray and then add some of the water on it and then place this inside the oven at 180 degree celcius for 30 minutes.
Now take the double cream and then add the egg yolk into it and then take the finely chopped parsley and then add this also in the cream along with a pinch of the salt and the pepper. Now take the hard french cheese and then grate it and then add this in the cream and then whisk it nicely.
Now take the potatoes and then peel them off and then cut the thick slices of it and then place this in the tray in the one on other and fill the whole tray with the potatoes add a pinch of salt on it and then make a layer of the cream and then place the potatoes in the same manner.
Now place this inside the oven at the 180 degree celcius at the 20 minutes and mean while flip the chicken to other side so that it will cook nicely.
After the given time take out the potatoes and the chicken add the melted butter on the chicken and then serve this in the plate and eat the chicken with the creamy potatoes.
