Recipe For The Raw Crabs Marinated In Soy Sauce

Crabs are known to be the amazing and the delicious seafood. In this we take the live crab and take out its flesh. We marinate it with the spicy soy sauce and then we cook the crab along with all the juices of it. Then it is served with the delicious rice.It is cooked in less time. Raw Crabs Marinated In Soy Sauce Recipe

Preparation Time- 15 Minutes
Cooking Time- 10 Minutes
Serves- 3

Ingredients

Live blue crabs- 2 pound
Apple- 1
Onion- 2
Garlic- 6 cloves
Ginger- 1 tablespoon
Red chili peppers- 4 to 5 dried
Green chili peppers- 3 to 4
Dried kelp- 4 inch x 7 inch
Rice syrup- 1/4 cup
Soy sauce- 3 cup
Water- 6 cups

Method Of Preparation

Step 1

First, take around 6 fresh crabs, if they are live put it in freeze for 3 hours so that they will go to sleep, while waiting for crab, lets prepare the recipe to marinate it, for this we take 1 apple and cut into thin slices, 2 medium onions chopped it, 5 to 6 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon chopped ginger, chopped green chilli pepper , 5 dried red chilli pepper, dried kelp, 1/4 cup rice syrup and 3 cup soy sauce in a heavy pot combine it.

Step 2

Turn on the heat, put the pot in medium heat and pour 6 cup of water mix with the ingredient in it put lid over it and bring to boil for around 20 minutes. Now after couple of minutes turn down the heat to low stir the marinade well and keep boiling for 1 hour. Further turn down the heat then strain the marinade in bowl then it cool down and set aside.

Step 3

Now take out the crab from freeze after 3 hours, then grab one crab shell with one hand clean the guts and split it open with your other hand and remove the gills with a knife, cut of any eyes & antennae with scissors and brush the crab in running water to clean them completely. Drain and put each shell back on the body so that it look like whole crab.

Step 4

Further, take a wide mouth glass container put all crabs into the container and the pour the cool marinate so that crab remain submerged into the container then put the lid over the container tightly and keep it in refrigerator for 24 hour.

Step 5

Now after 24 hour take out the crab from refrigerator then cut the crab into small size piece and crushed the hard claws with knife then garnish it with chopped green onion, chopped red chili pepper and sesame seeds. Transfer the delicious crab into plate and enjoy it with fluffy rice.
