Recipe For The Spicy Fried Rice And Spanish Chicken At Home

Hello friends! We all love to enjoy new dishes. It becomes so boring to eat same kind of foods everyday. Isn’t it? To taste new types of foods, we often go to restaurant. But, it is not possible to go to restaurants always. Then how will we change the taste? Are we going to eat that same boring food everyday? No way! We will learn new dishes which can easily be made at home and can change our taste. So friends, to keep that in mind, today I am going to share to different style of recipes. These are Spicy Fried Rice and Spanish Chicken. Both are very easy to make at home and healthy as well. Since I am using rice and chicken, these two recipes are full of nutrients. Due to its nice taste, your kids will love these. In both the recipes, I am going to add a different flavor which will make you love these dishes. Let’s start one by one.

First We Will Be Making Spicy Fried Rice. Let’s Check How To Make It:

Spicy Fried Rice

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients: What We Need Is:

500 grams of rice ( I use flavored rice to give it an extra flavor. You will get flavored rice at any super market)
2 big size onion
6 chopped green chili ( You can avoid it if you want to make it less spicy)
1 tsp of chopped garlic
1 small size potato
100 grams cauliflower
2 tsp olive oil
6 green cardamom
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
2 inch cinnamon stick
4 clove
2 bay leaves
6 curry leaves
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
75 grams grated coconut
50 grams green peas
3 tsp chopped cashew nuts
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp whole coriander seeds
salt to taste
2 tsp chopped parsley

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1:

To make this spicy fried rice, first of all we need to make a mixed spice which will create the extra flavor to this dish. For that, we need to make a paste with 1 tsp whole cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp whole coriander seed, 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, 2 tsp chopped cashew nuts, 2 tsp grated coconut and 1 tsp chopped parsley. Keep this paste aside.

Step 2:

Soak the rice into lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Make thin slice of the onion. Cut potato and cauliflower into small pieces. Now heat oil in a big frying pan. Add cloves, whole cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, bay leaves and curry leaves one by one. Saute for a minute.

Step 3:

After a minute, add chopped green chili and garlic into it. After that, add sliced onion. Fry till it become golden color. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and the paste that we made in step 1. Saute for 2 minutes.

Step 4:

After 2 minutes, add pieces of cauliflower, potato and green peas into it. Add 100 ml of water. Reduce the flame when it starts boiling. When the vegetables will become half boiled, add the soaked rice into it. Add salt. Put some more water. Cover it with a lid. Switch of the flame after rice becomes boiled. If there is any excess water into the rice, strain it with a strainer. Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley.

Now We Will Learn Spanish Chicken. This Is Very Easy To Make. This Preparation Of Chicken Can Be Taken With Any Sort Of Rice Items. Lets Check The Recipe:

Spanish Chicken

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4


700 grams of boneless chicken cut into small pieces
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp unsalted butter
100 ml water
2 onion chopped finely
2 tsp of chopped garlic
1 medium size capsicum cut into small pieces
4 medium size tomato cut into small pieces
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
100 grams button mushroom cut into small pieces
salt to taste

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1:

Mix salt with the chicken pieces and keep aside. Now heat oil in a frying pan. Add the chicken pieces into it. Fry it till it becomes slightly golden. Take them out of the pan.

Step 2:

Add chopped onion and garlic into the same oil which we used to fry chicken pieces. Fry them for 3-4 minutes. Now add pieces of capsicum, tomato, mushroom one by one and fry them. Add Oyster sauce into it. Saute for a minute.

Step 3:

After a minute, add fried chicken pieces into it. Add water and salt. Cover it with a lid. When the chicken pieces will become boiled, switch off the flame. Serve hot with Spicy fried rice.
