Classic Guacamole

Serves: 2 to 4


2 avocados, ripped
Half teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice or lime juice
2 tablespoon of green or red onion, sliced
One or two minced serrano chiles, seeds and stems removed
Two tbsp of cilantro, finely chopped
Freshly black pepper, grated
Half ripe tomato, chopped, pulp and seeds remove

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Make sure to take good and ripe avocados as they determine the taste. Unripe avocados do not serve the purpose. Now, cut avocados into half. Eliminate seeds. With the help of a spoon, try to gently remove the flesh of avocado. Place this in the bowl.

Step 2

Now, mash the avocado with the help of a fork. While doing this keep in mind that the dish should not be chunky. So do not overdo the process.

Step 3

Now sprinkle some lime juice or salt. Acid that is present in lime juice helps to manage the avocado’s richness. So, they won’t turn into brown.

Step 4

Next step is to add finely chopped ingredients like cilantro, chiles and onions to the preparation. Also, do not forget to add black pepper to this. This step is to add tastes to the dish. Depending on your taste, you can adjust the quantity of the ingredients.

Final step is involved in covering the dish with a plastic wrapper. Make sure that the air is not reaching the dish. Otherwise, avocados turn to brown as the oxidation occurs due to air. Store in refrigerator until the delicious dish is served. If you do not want the tomatoes to be chilled, do not add them to the dish. Chop them and add it to the dish before serving.
