Best Recipe Of Dry Fruit Rice Served With Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon

Hello friends! Today I am going to share two very delicious continental recipes with you. These are Dry Fruit Rice and Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon. In the fried rice, I used lot of dry fruits which has made the dish amazing in taste and also has increased the nutrition value. Dry fruits contain lot of vitamins and protein which is very much needed in our daily life. Kids at their growing age need lot of protein and vitamins. Make this to them to give them a balanced diet. The fish recipe is another delicious dish. Here I used salmon fish. However, any boneless fish can be used to make this recipe. Another reason of using salmon is its nutrition value. It contains essential vitamins which is very good for health. So friends, let’s start of making these two delicious and healthy recipes.

Let’s Start With Dry Fruit Rice.

1. Dry Fruit Rice:

This is a very delicious, tasty and healthy rice item. I used here normal plain rice. However, it is completely up to you which kind of rice you will be using. Brown rice can also be used to make this item. The taste will remain same.

Dry Fruit Rice

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Let’s check what we would need to make this delicious dish.

200 grams uncooked rice ( Choose rice at your choice)
1 tsp of sugar
3 green cardamom
3 cloves
1 tsp raisin
2 tsp cashew nuts
2 tsp almond
1 tsp plum
1 pinch of saffron
1/2 cup of milk
2 tsp of clarified butter
2 tsp peanut oil
salt as per taste

Method Of Preparation:

We would be following some very simple steps to make this recipe.

Step 1

Soak the rice in to water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take a big pan. Heat water in to that. When the water will be boiled, add 1/2 tsp sugar and little salt in to it. Add soaked rice in to it. Let the rice boil for 15 minutes or till the rice is 90 percent boiled. After that, strain out the excess water from the rice. Spread the rice on a tray. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat a frying pan. Now dry fry the raisin, cashew nuts and almond for few minutes. Take them out of the pan and keep aside.

Step 3

Heat clarified butter in to the frying pan. Add sugar in to it. When the sugar will start caramelizing, add green cardamom and clove in to it. Now add the cooked rice in to the frying pan. Mix the rice very well with the butter. Add all the fried dry fruits in to it. Mix them well and saute the rice on low flame for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Mix the saffron into 1/2 cup of milk. Add this milk in to the rice. Cover the frying pan with a lid and leave it on low flame for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, switch off the flame. Keep it covered till we prepare Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon.

2. Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon:

This is a very tasty and healthy fish recipe. I have used here salmon fish due to its taste and health benefit. However, you can use any boneless fish to make this recipe. Let’s check how to make this.

Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

What we would need to make this recipe is:

2 fish fillets ( fish at your choice)
1/2 tsp freshly chopped parsley
1/2 tsp freshly chopped cilantro
2 tsp white wine
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic
1/4 tsp of black pepper powder
1 medium size boiled potato
2 asparagus
1 medium sized tomato
2 tsp of butter
1 ripe mango
salt as per taste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup of all purpose flour

Method Of Preparation:

Let’s follow some simple steps to make this.

Step 1

Marinate the fish fillets with lemon juice, white wine, salt and black pepper powder for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Roll the marinated fish fillets in to all purpose flour. Fry them till they are golden brown. Keep them aside. Now in the same pan, fry chopped parsley and chopped cilantro. Keep everything aside.

Step 3

Now we would be making a salsa. For that, we need to chop the tomato and the asparagus. Then boil them in salted water for 5 minutes. Mash the boiled potato with 2 tsp butter and salt.

Step 4

Take a serving platter. Put the mashed potato on it. Keep the fried fish on top of the boiled potato. Now top this with boiled vegetables. Keep two or three slice of ripe mango at the side of the plate. Sprinkle the fried parsley and cilantro on the top.

Our Parsley Cilantro Crusted Salmon is ready to be served with dry fruit rice. However, this fish item can be eaten simply as snacks without any rice item. But the taste will be better if you try it with dry fruits rice. Make this at your home and enjoy.
