Recipe Of Green Tea And Vanilla Panna Cotta With Chocolate Sauce

Here Is The Recipe For Green Tea And Vanilla Panna Cotta With Chocolate Sauce:


Preparation Time: 1 Hour
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4


Milk – 100 gram
Vanilla pod – 1 (seed removed)
Green tea bags – 3
Double cream – 350 ml
Gelatine – 1 1/4 leaves (soak it in water)
Icing sugar – 70g
Caster sugar – 30g
Water – 150ml
Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
Dark chocolate – 100g

Method Of Preparation:

Step 1

Put the vanilla pod, seeds, milk, tea bags and half of the cream in a pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes. It should get reduced by at least a third. Remove it from heat and take out the tea bags. In case the tea bags burst, you can strain it through a sieve so that the tea grains do not get mixed in the panna cotta. You have to be careful here. Make sure the tea bags have not burst.

Step 2

Now squeeze the gelatine and discard the water. You do not need the water that the gelatine was soaked in. Stir the soaked gelatine into the green tea mixture and let it dissolve. Allow it to cool and then keep it in the fridge. Stir it occasionally and then remove vanilla pod.

Step 3

Whip the remaining cream and icing sugar together. Now mix the two mixtures together. Divide the mixture into 4 moulds. You need to use metal moulds. You can also pour it in small glasses. Cover it and let it chill for about one hour. This is an important step because you want your panna cotta to properly set and not be runny. If it does not set in one hour, set it for longer.

Step 4

Now you need to make the warm chocolate sauce. This is easy and delicious! Just place the water, cocoa and caster sugar in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Take it off the heat and put the broken chocolate in it. Stir till the chocolate gets dissolved. You would need to warm this chocolate sauce before serving it with the panna cotta.

Step 5

Now you need to take the panna cotta out of the moulds. You can dip the mould or the glass into hot water so that it gets loose and the panna cotta comes out on the plate. Serve it with yummy chocolate sauce that you made in Step 4. Spoon the chocolate sauce around the panna cotta. If you feel your panna cotta will not come out in perfect shape, you can serve it in the cup only with some chocolate sauce poured on top.
