Mouth Watering Recipe Of Mutton Minced Fried Rice And Spinach Chicken At Home

Today I am going to share two very delicious dish with you. They are Mutton Minced Fried Rice and Spinach Chicken. In the fried rice, I used sticky red rice due to its high nutrition value. If you are a diet conscious, you should use red rice or brown rice. Plain rice can also be used to make this but due to its high carbohydrate value, it’s better to avoid. Spinach is a leafy vegetable which contains lots of folic acid and vitamin A. It is very much good for the women who are mom to be. Also, if your kid does not like to eat vegetables, make this to them. Surely they will love it. So friends, Let’s start of making our today’s two delicious dish one by one.

1. Mutton/Pork Minced Fried Rice:

This is an Indonesian cuisine. It has high nutrition value since I will be making this with mutton/pork and sticky red rice. This dish can be eaten simply without any side dish. However, Spinach Chicken will go perfectly with this. Now a days red rice are easily available at any departmental store. You can use normal brown rice as well to make this.

Mutton/Pork Minced Fried Rice

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 2


Let’s check what we would need to make this superb item.

100 grams of uncooked red rice ( Alternately, brown rice)
4 tsp chopped onion
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped spring onion
2 tsp unsalted butter
2 tsp olive oil
50 grams of mutton/pork minced ( Simply put some boneless meat piece in a grinder and grind it to make minced)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red paprika powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp garlic paste
salt as per taste

Method of Preparation:

We would need to follow some easy simple steps to make this recipe:

Step 1

Wash the uncooked rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes. Now heat water in a big pan and boil the rice. Once they are boiled, strain out the excess water. Spread the cooked rice on a kitchen towel. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Now add 2 tsp chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped garlic in to it. Fry them on high flame until the raw smell of garlic goes off. Add chopped spring onion in to it. Saute for 1 minute.

Step 3

After 1 minute, add the cooked rice in to the frying pan. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Add Salt in to it. Sprinkle some water. Cover with a lid and keep on low flame for 5 minutes.After that switch off the flame.

Step 4

Now we need to prepare the minced mutton. For that we need to heat oil in a frying pan. Add 2 tsp of chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red paprika powder, turmeric powder in to it. Fry all them on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Add the minced mutton/pork in to it. Mix the minced meat with every other things. Fry all of them. Now add 5 tsp of water in to the frying pan. Cover it with a lid. Let the minced mutton/pork boil for 5 minutes.

Step 5

After 5 minutes, add the cooked fried rice which we made at step 3 in to the mutton minced gravy. Mix the rice with mutton minced properly. Add unsalted butter in to it. Cover with a lid and keep it like this for 5 minutes on low flame. After 5 minutes, switch off the flame.

We are ready with our Mutton minced fried rice. Keep it aside to serve with Spinach Chicken.

2. Spinach Chicken:

Spinach chicken is a very delicious and tasty dish. It has high nutrition value. You can try this dish not only with mutton minced fried rice, but also with any other rice item. Let’s check how to make this.

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 2


We would need some very easily available ingredients to make this dish.

300 grams of boneless chicken cut in to small pieces
200 grams of spinach leaves
2 tsp of finely chopped onion
4 tsp of garlic paste
1 tsp of ginger paste
1 dry red chili
1/2 tsp of whole cumin seeds
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp butter
salt as per taste

Method of preparation:

We will be following some simple steps to make this recipe.

Step 1

wash the spinach leaves very well. Now take a big pan and boil the spinach leaves in salted water. When the leaves will become very soft ( it takes around 10 minutes to become boil), strain out the water. Cool down the leaves. Now take them in a grinder and grind them to make a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a frying pan. Add whole cumin seeds and dry red chili in to it. When the cumin seeds will become sputter, add chopped onion in to it. Fry them till they are golden brown.

Step 3

When the onion will be fried to golden brown, add chicken pieces in to it. add garlic paste and ginger paste in to it. Mix them properly with the chicken. On medium flame fry the chicken pieces.

Step 4

When the gravy will start removing oil, add spinach paste that we made at step 1. Stir occasionally. Add salt in to it. Cover it with a lid and let the chicken boil.

Step 5

When the chicken will be boiled enough and the gravy will become almost dry, switch off the flame. Put 1 tsp of butter and mix that with the spinach chicken.
Our delicious Spinach Chicken is ready. Serve it hot with Mutton Minced Fried Rice and enjoy with your family.
