The egg is a nutritious food and perhaps the cheapest source of protein. Nutrition of one egg is equal to a whole chicken. It is a good source of different minerals like selenium, iron, zinc, calcium,copper, etc. and vitamins like B vitamins, and vitamin D are also present in the egg. Add egg to your daily diet.
Egg Itself Is Tasty But You Can Make It Tastier If You Make Different Preparations With It. One Such Preparation Is Egg Chop:
Preparation Time: 40 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
1 cup minced meat
1 bunch coriander leaves
2 green cardamom
1 small piece of cinnamon
2 green chilies
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 small piece of ginger
2 tablespoons butter oil
Methods Of Preparation:
Boil 6 eggs and shell them. Cut them vertically. Sprinkle some salt and black pepper over them and keep them aside.
Boil potato and remove the jacket. Sprinkle some salt over them and mash them.
Grind onion, clove and ginger to paste and keep them aside. Grind cinnamon, cardamom and clove to fine powder. Chop green chili and coriander leaves and keep in a separate bowl.
In a pan heat butter oil and add the onion, garlic, ginger paste. Fry the paste. Add minced meat in it and sprinkle some salt over them. Keep stirring to mix everything. Add little amount of water in minced meat and keep the lid on for 10-15 minutes to make the meat soft. Remove the lid and check whether the meat is tender enough. Keep the flame on to dry down the excess gravy. When the meat is dry enough remove them from the pan.
Add the meat in a big container. Add boiled and mashed potato. Add chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chili and spice powder. Add salt to taste. Mix everything. Cover each half of the boiled egg with this mixture.
Beat one egg properly. In the time of beating add pinch of salt in it. Pour crumbs in a bowl. Now deep each covered egg in the beaten egg and roll them on crumbs to get the crumb coat. Repeat the process.
Heat ample amount of canola oil in a deep bottom pan. Fry crumbs coated eggs in the oil till golden brown. Double fry the egg to make the coating crunchy. Now your egg chop is ready. Serve them hot with fresh salads and sauce.
